Note

1) For passengers traveling to interior points in India, International baggage rule is applicable for transit within 24 hours and when the entire journey is ticketed against a through fare. (Not applicable on Domestic flights operated by ATR, CRJ type of Aircraft)

2) In case of separate tickets being issued for travel to the interior points, the domestic baggage rule is applied for the domestic sector/s.

3) Wherever Free Baggage Allowance mentioned above is different from that of mentioned on ticket, Free baggage allowance mentioned on ticket would apply.

4) Passengers carrying volumetric registered baggage will be charged the higher rate, if the gross/actual weight of the registered baggage is less then the volumetric weight

    Air India allows extra 20 Kg baggage allowance to students when flight operates from india to shanghai. Is this allowance also available when flight is from shanghai to delhi.?
