Dear sir.my wife wanted to travel to Bengaluru to see her sister who is ailing ,so she decided to go by air india.She also has a sister in mumbai whose late husband Ashok jhaveri was a pilot in indian airlines for many years till his death But now just by a slip of the pen instead of naming her ie my wife fay philomena the agent wrote philomena fay and that caused a problem and now she is unable to fly with that ticket unless it is rectified.Being a pensioner she is unable to buy another fare Is there anything that can be done to rectify it so that she can use that ticket.She is 80 yrs all her sis is 84 so on compassionate grounds is it possible to do something about it She worked as an air hostess for 6 years before marrying and migrating to australia at the age of 30 yrs .She is very depressed about it Could you kindly look into the matter please A an indian by birth lived in india for 35 yrs.Regards Steve byrne
