    Regarding BA flight 2781 from Madeira ā€“ Funchal to London Gatwick – Date: March 23rd /12.50 – Booking U5YA7 (One digit missing)
    I have been trying to find a Customer relation Email address in London but not able to establish contact. I decided to write to you if you could be so kind as to direct my Email to the right source in the UK.
    On March 17th I booked a flight for my wife and me with British Airways from Madeira/Funchal to London Gatwick today on Monday the 23rd. No earlier flights were available. Our original return flight this week by Norwegian air to Copenhagen had been cancelled. The management of the Pestana resort where we stayed, the authorities of Madeira, the Icelandic government urged all tourists to leave the island and return home as soon as possible as they expected the airport to be closed any day. Many other flights from Madeira during the last week to London were cancel. Then an earlier flight to London with another airline opened last Friday. We managed to get two tickets and then onwards to Iceland by Icelandair last Saturday. When I wanted to cancel my flight by British Airways I did not find any confirmation of my booking on my computer but the amount of the tickets ā‚¬628.70 had been charged to my credit card on Tuesday the 17th at 17:15. I could not find our booking as I had unfortunately written down one digit short booking U5YA7. I have not received any notification from BA regarding the flight. So, there must have been some error in the booking process, just charging no booking. My question is how do I claim a refund?
