Broome Airport underwent several stages of expansion, with the first major improvements in 1991 when Airport Engineering Services purchased the airport from the Federal Department of Transport. This transition from government to private operations marked the beginning of a new era for Broome’s airport.

Parking at Broome International Airport

Car parking for Disabled Permit holders is available. Passengers can be dropped off outside the Departure Terminal, but drivers must not stop for more than two minutes. For security reasons the driver isn’t allowed to leave the vehicle under any circumstances.

Long term parking fee – $15 per night

Parking permits can be purchased at the following locations:

• Administration Office – Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
• Screening Point Desk of the Departure Terminal – Monday to Friday 5pm onwards
• Screening Point Desk of the Departure Terminal –Weekends & Public Holidays

Please note: Eftpos payments only accepted. Car parks can’t be reserved.
