    I received my baggage damaged from a recent trip to Germany. I was referred to a local agent to to replace my bag. What a frustration. one and a half months and only promises. Unprofessional, don’t care attitude and the run around.

    My May flights to Nice via Zurich were cancelled by Lufthansa.
    I am advised that Schengen borders in Europe will be open by 1 July.

    I’ve been trying incessantly to reach the JHB LH office without success. All I receive is a recorded message and I find this most frustrating and somewhat inefficient.
    I read on your website that non German nationals TRAVELING from certain countries ( me specifically from South Africa )may not transit in Frankfurt. I’m booked to fly LH 25 March from JHB to Milan via Frankfurt. I haven’t received any alternative from your offices and I’m due to depart in less than 24 hours. WHAT DECENT ALTERNATIVE DOES LH INTEND PROVIDING IN MY CASE OR ARE THEY JUST GOING TO IGNORE THE INCONVENIENCE.     I tried to change my flight. When I put in my reference number, the reply came back, number unknown! I have not been able to reach the Johannesburg Office – all I get is a voice giving me various pieces of information about flying. I put my flight on hold in March/April, due to travel restrictions. and was told to recontact the office at the end of May. There is no reply on the phone number 0861842538.     I have had an open line running to the booking service number for more than an hour, no has answered yet. I have more than 10 hours of holding for Swiss Air, which is also apparently part of the same group, also with no assistance.

    I urgently need to rebook a flight which they cancelled last week on Friday, and yet I cannot get any assistance, either via phone or email.

    Good day, I have been trying to get a refund for my cancelled, cancelled and cancelled again flight back from LHR to JNB in January of this year (Booking Code: SIW8HI) Ticket Number: 2202457452788. I have emailed, sent forms on this type of website, all to no avail. I have phoned the local Johannesburg number, waited for up to 25 minutes at a time, no answer. I really am surprised, I expected better of the German flag flyer.

    This airline is an absolute disgrace. do not fly them. My daughter flew on the 14th of January via Frankfurt to Edinburgh. firstly the air hostesses and stewards are so rude I think they have been specifically trained ot be rude.
    Her luggage is lost. 3 days later there is no sign of it.

    27 passengers on the same flight did not have their baggage loaded because the plane was too small to carry the weight. Try phoning the Lufthansa customer service centre. Apart from holding on for 20 minutes, the woman on the phone was so incompetent, that she gave me no information, and what she did was so disjointed that I got absolutely noway. Do not fly this airline. They are appalling and don’t care either.

    I have a problem with a refund of my tickets that Lufthansa cancelled thru Opodo in October last year. You do not get a hold of anybody at your customer service number 0861 842538. there is no email address for you or Opodo to get in contact with you. The next thing to do is get a lawyer, between you and Opodo it’s a run around to get my refund.
