I left something in the Cabin on the 24th of July via the flight I came in from Frankfurt to Washington Dulles. I went back to the gate B45 at exactly 3pm few minutes after we landed. I met 2 Lufthansa staff that were boarding people into same plane. I told them that I had forgotten the things I bought at the duty free in Frankfurt in the plane. I was told that they saw it and had taken it to the security that I should head for my connecting flight to Canada that I should contact Lufthansa that it will be mailed to me. I have sent several emails to customer services. They requested my flight booking no, my ticket which is United but flew Lufthansa cos of its affiliated. I have called Lufthansa lost and found and they are saying that my item is not registered. What is actually going on because the staffs at the gate confirmed that my forgotten item was in the plane and it had been handed over to the security. No response from the Lufthansa customer service till date. This is very sad and poor services. I am highly disappointed.

Hello, My Name is SADEQUR R. PATWARY. On November 05, 2019 I bought two tickets online for my wife “Rekia Hamdad” & for my son “Sami A. Patwary”. Lufthansa charged my credit card two times of $599.93 each.
Flight Outward 05/10/2020 from IAD. and return from ALG on 08/26/2020.
My problem is I am unable to find the Booking code, or the email containing booking code sent by LUFTHANSA.
The credit card was charged on 11/05/2019, 2 times
    1) 2208524183249 for $599.93 &
    2) 2208524183250 for 599.93 in New York.
Please send my Booking Code either to my email ” [email protected]” or” [email protected]
    Thank you

THANKS A LOOOOT!!

They insisted my elderly mother had the wrong covid test and was insisting on sending her back to Atlanta rather than on to Germany. I was adamant that the test was correct as I had followed Lufthansa instructions that I had received prior to flight. The test had to be completed within 48 hours or less to arrival in Germany. The options included PCR or Antigen test. I had completed the Antigen as it was resulted more rapidly and could be completed within the 48 hours or less to arrival in Germany. I had heard from previous travelers that they had done the PCR and ended up in Germany with it being invalid (greater than 48 hours) and required retesting in Germany and more expenses to pay. As it was they sent my mother on to Germany (after much arguments and anguish) and upon arrival in Germany it was indeed the CORRECT test and no further testing was required. The airlines believe they are gods, but guess what, they’re not ….. they’re the most incompetent peons that exist in the world. And just try to ruin peoples days, lives, and traveling experiences. PLUS they are okay with you spending hard earned money at their whim. Another thing, my brother paid for her baggage, 75.00 and when I got to the airport they insisted it had not been paid ( we had the ticket receipt) and had to fork over another 70.00. They deserve zero stars or negative stars if I could.

  • Customer, if that matters

Terrible service today from the ticket counter supervisor Haley. She was at the counter and could have answered a simple question in 30 seconds but instead insisted we wait until the counter opened 90 minutes later. This was after trying to reach a representative at the Lufthansa main number for hours which she didn’t seem at all concerned about. What does it say about an airline who would make someone a supervisor who is so poor at basic customer service?

On May 19, 2021, I called LH’s 800 number to book a round trip ticket from Dulles to Naples, Italy. I provided my credit card number to pay for the ticket at the agreed price of $1,158 but an extra charge of $629 was billed on my card without my prior authorization and consent. I ended up paying $1758 for a ticket that should have cost $1158. I have been trying to get a refund from LH as the agent put through a fraudulent charge to my card. My bank will not reimburse me because they say that LH is responsible. I have spent months on this issue and have filed a report with the FTC, the Attorney General in my jurisdiction and have notified LH management in Germany, all to no avail. My husband just rebooked a ticket to Italy and the charge on his credit card was $1,038 more than the agreed charge of $103 to cover rebooking and upgrade. It seems to me that LH has a problem with its reservations desk and employing staff who are busy stealing from their customers. I WILL NEVER FLY LH again. It’s a disreputable company and shows no care for its customers.

I booked a ticket last year and because of COVID-19 and all the uncertainty, my ticket was canceled and I received a credit that was valid until March 15th. I tried to call them more than 30 times to claim my credit and get another booking, but every time I do that, I either get literally yelled at by an agent, hung up on, or just absolutely no answer. The very few times they answer, they ask me to pay an extra $800 on top of my original $781. Even though the same flight online is priced at $500??? By far this has been the worst customer experience. I have been trying to book this ticket for months!! I have never seen such a horrible company. I have no idea how we cannot file complaints and get this resolved. Unbelievable

My flights from IAD to FRA today was cancelled, and we’ve been rebooked on Air Canada to FRA. Flight from FRA to BER was not rebooked, Booking code was vs69q7. AC flights are AC 1077 and AC 842. However. It arrives in Frankfurt at 11:10. LH 182 flight from FRA to BER leaves at 11:45. That’s not enough time to make it. The chat is not responsive to my request to rebook that flight. The phone told me to call back later. Please Help!!!!
