Hi there- my phone won’t let me call the number given for the Qantas office. Here is the question to which I can’t find an answer

How early can I book in for a Qantas flight from London Heathrow to Brisbane via Dubai on Saturday night – I have the chance of a lift to the airport but am very early for the Qantas flight if I take it, I can use the lounge but only if I have been booked in – so – WHAT TIME DOES THE QANTAS DESK OPEN ON SATURDAY NIGHTS FOR THE FLIGHT FROM LONDON VIA DUBAI TO BRISBANE??

    Dear Sir,

I might have sent my earlier post to the wrong “contact”. Please do not post this online.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

Appalling service. Every Quantas number I have called this morning comes up with the response “Number no longer in use” “We cannot connect you”. My daughter is on a flight, QF001 from Sydney, stuck at Al Ain. Passengers, over 500 of them, have been sitting on the flight on the ground for over nine hours. They are at screaming pitch and who can blame them? First of all there was fog delaying the flight, then a call for an engineer. Is the aircraft safe? I am in Cheltenham UK trying to make contact with you to find out what is going on. You are giving false information on Google saying the flight is on its way from Dubai to Heathrow when it has not even reached Dubai. What are you playing at? You should have set up a call centre by now. Where do I get information? Please get back to me as soon as possible. Also, you have my full permission to post this email on your website. It will be a warning to other passengers thinking of travelling with you.

It is almost impossible to call the Qantas London office.
Doubleclick keeps diverting the links to all sorts of advertisements except the London number.
Your website keeps crashing everytime I book in and try and pay for excess luggage
Nobody including the dozen freight numbers I’ve got through to can you tell me what the charges are if you prepay. The diverted calls to Australia cost Ā£1 every 4 minutes and you just wait and wait and wait.
I’ve been on the net now for 4 hours trying to find that information.

Can you confirm that my return bookings from Sydney to Lord Howe Island has been cancelled. I initially attempted to cancel this online after separating the bookings but did not receive email confirmation and the cancellation failed. I arranged this over the phone after a very long wait earlier this week and was told it had been done and promised email confirmation, This has not appeared. The reference for the new separated booking is WHNW93. Outwards Flight was at 10.20 on February 7, return at 11.40 on Feb 12.

My wife will still be going ahead with the original booking.

This service is appalling I spent four days (day and night) trying to contact Qantas This entailed a waiting time of 3 hours each time. Because of the waiting of 2+ hours I tried to avoid the expense of the phone call by using the callback system on my Australian mobile.
I waited 4 times for a callback that didn’t happen and only found out today that the callback service is not working therefore hundreds of people must have been in the same situation as me. The system takes your details and you wait for 2+ hours the phone doesn’t ring but instead goes straight to voicemail. This morning I decided to take on the expense of a phone call I was on hold for 2 hours finally a South African operator answered . She was rude, discourteous and extremely unhelpful after she had taken all my details and I was in the middle of asking questions the call was disconnected Although she had my mobile she did not call back I have just called them again and been on hold for an hour While I was on hold the call was disconnected again I am a Gold Frequent Flyer So much for service

I have a booking from Heathrow direct to Perth on the 25th February booking reference is KLIE5W.
I would like to change my seat but cannot do it on line as there is a comment on my booking saying payment is in progress for my seat I booked and paid all of this in October I have also spoken to someone at Qantas twice asking them to remove the comment which they obviously have not done.
Can you please sort this out so I can change my seat.
I have tried ringing Qantas but they say itā€™s a 2 hour wait I will try again tomorrow but maybe you can help me with this please email me to let me know
    Thankyou

Hello, we want to plan the return of an Australian lady who holds an Australian Passport, Helen Spark, back to her homeland. She is elderly and infirm and would need a chaperone service + wheel chair. She was 47 years in the NHS, so knows how to take care of herself.
I understand that double vaxed people are allowed into Australia but would be quarantined on arrival. This would be no hardship as she is effectively housebound in London anyway. Could she fly Business Class one-way? We’d like to do this within the next two months and would need a detailed plan. Can you help?
    Best regards
    Michael

You have changed my flight without giving other options. I do not. want to wait 7 hours in Darwin- I want to fly back via Dubai. You have a button allowing to cancel the change but it does not work- and it says call the Qantas office. Contact me ASAP as no one answers the phone.

  • Mr Mark Thrussell

Hi, I booked a ticket on Qantas through a third party travel company. Unfortunately Qantas cancelled the flight and no alternative was suitable. I asked for a refund but the operator stated it would take 4-6 weeks to receive the money back from Qantas. Is this True: if so why does it take so long to return a payment.

  • Moira Holland

I have Flight Credit for Ā£1142.82 which I wanted to use. Qantas site shows I have to ring local office (0800964432) which I have done twice. I was on hold for over 2hours the first time (3 Match 2022) and over 1 hour on 4 March 2022. I never got speak to a person!!
How is one expected to redeem this credit if my calls arenā€™t answered?

I couldn’t board my flight last Friday, 11 March, 2022 at 22:00 (booking reference: 57YLD6) from LHR to Dubai: EK6 and then to Sydney EK0412Q returning 19 March, 2022 QF1
because of a positive pre-departure Covid test. I successfully applied online for flight credit but have not received a reference number or email. I need to book another flight as soon as possible as the purpose of my trip is urgent. I have been calling all the numbers on the website and staying on the phone for up to 2 hours at a time to no avail. Could you please confirm my flight credit ASAP so I can rebook my flight.

  • Trevor Green

Qantas are impossible to make contact with. Not every question has an online answer available

I cant even find a UK mailing address

My domestic flight was changed to a hugely unsociable 0600 (middle of the night waking -up) and I need to cancel for a refund not a voucher. Even applying the cancel key was ignored, with more flight information

  • Mrs Dawn Nicholl

Hi I booked a flight this week and paid a holding deposit. The flight is QF2 26th June London Hethrow to Singapore then QF72 Singapore to Perth. I spent two and a half hours today trying to get through to customer services as I want to use my flight credit to pay for my flights. The payment system would not allow me to do this. I have tried various ways over the past few weeks trying to contact you to re arrange flights, and even lost flight deposits!! Please could some one contact me so I can get these flights paid for using the credit.
I also can not log in to manage my account, the system just keeps coming up error. I have updated my pin but even this will not work even though my frequent flyer number is correct along with my surname. I do not want to loose another deposit or flight booking.
I look forwards to receiving your reply.
