    Dear Manager,

I am a professor and had a flight from Tehran to Singapore with Qatar Airways. I had a nice experience but one thing was annoying.
I had a work permit for my 6-month sabbatical visit to Singapore National University and in the letter it was clearly mentioned that the letter is used as the first entry visa. But Qatar Airways officers hold me for a while to see if they can check me in and at the end after talking to the flight supervisor they asked me to sign a paper that if I was returned from Singapore they do not accept any responsibility.

I signed it and arrived here with no problem and now am in my office with a resident card . Just wanted to remind you when someone has a visa why she/he should sign a paper like that? do you get such a paper signed by someone having a visa and flying Qatar Air? We all know that anyone with valid visa might be deported at any arrival airport, so does it mean that you should get such a paper signed by him/her.

So, I thought it is good to mention it and that it was very annoying and the only bad memory I have from Qatar Airways. I hope that you do not repeat it to my family (my wife and our son) who are joining me tomorrow night again using Qatar Airline from Tehran.

    Regards
    H. Sarbazi-Azad

So far, all the tel.numbers are useless. I have been trying to contact the main office in Doh,on the number given but no one to ask a question. I have been trying to book a ticket on line and want to get some assistance for the payment on line. I am worried If I book my ticket and pay in rial in Iran, it may not issue my ticket. Really, this is getting annoying from Qatar airways…anyone out there who can help.

Hello if anyone reads this. I have been trying to call this number that says international customer care.+974 4023 0000..it is asking me for an access code times and times.how the hell do I enter an access code when i domt have one,or if I get the wrong number, why your airline with such a pose, doesnot publish the correct details..not everyone can access the local offices.why are they charging $25 to buy a ticket on tbe top of the ticket price.is this a ripoff company..I dont see any of tbe charges with any other airlines, or maybe yours special..we dont need you,,you need our money to operate and leave no choice to spend the money somewhere else.

I’m a regular traveler. And I must say, the current managers at the check in desks for Qatar had the absolute worst customer service I have ever witnessed. They were the coldest and most careless, and unwilling to help, so much that I lost my ticket because the darn link they gave to fill out a form for the JFK airport wouldn’t load. And the manager coldly said, “you need the vpn.” What if some people don’t have it? I had it anyways, and it still didn’t work. I told him, and he didn’t care. For gosh sakes, at least INFORM passengers or print it out for them! So with a smirk on his face he watched while I stood there not knowing where to get help, and he simply said, “the gates are closed now.”
Shame on all of you. This is a new level of unprofessional work. You have no idea what hardships you caused.

    Hello all,
Do nto travel on this airline. Last year they promised to extend my Business class ticket for a year due to pandemic anf flight restriction to Tehran, then when I called to book my flight in February 2021, they told me ” your ticket is cancelled and voided and basically told me to my face, what are you talking about, we never promised you any extensions”?? Typical third world airline advertising as world class airline. Now it has been more than 3 months and no refund has been issued. I have send and revived more than 10 emails from Avesh Macwan and still, no refund. Shame on this and I will never, ever fly or recommend this lying group to any of my friends.
