2 days ago our friend Mrs Jayanthi Lienger gave an Envelope to the front desk of Qatarairways at Doha;s airport. In the following attachments you will see that is all about related to me the passenger Mrs. Giannou who travelled from Sydney to Doha with final destination to Crete for the funeral of my husband.
Because of a delay from my flight from Sydney to Doha ( Another passenger had a problem and the flight landed at Singapour Airport and had 5 hours delay) So because of this I couldn’t reach my normal flight ffrom Doha to Athens. That coused a tremendous problem to the whole family because everybody waited of me -and especially my son who felt totally alone and despered- , so that the funeral process can take place on the skeduald time frame..
The difference to approach Dohas Airport from Singapour was only 15 Minutes..I ve informed directly the aishostess about my skeduald flight to inform them to wait of me so that i can travel ASAP to Greece and she did’nt respond !
So finaly my flight didn’t wait of me (for 15 minutes delay) and i took the next flight to Athens from Doha ..but that caused a very big problem again to the family becaus ethe telecomunication in Doha was not the best one and my people my relatives started to worry about me ..
So the family was forst to put back to the dead cooler my husband and i had again to wait until to reach my flight ..So finally after all this amazing delays and changed flights i reached Crete at 23Q30 exausted and in bad mental condition because i coud’nt (because of you qatar airways to be like planned at mthe funeral so that i can support on pa proper way my son about our loss.
Like i already have written i testified also to my lawyer and i would appreciate you and your company to find a common solution..

I would like to report that today (April 27, 2019) when I arrived home after long journey from Penang to Athens (through Doha) with Qatar airways, the lock of my checked-in baggage was broken. I found a telephone for Qatar Airways in Athens airport, contacted them immediately and was advised to submit my damaged baggage claim online through this website: https://haqiba.qatarairways.com.qa/Haqiba . However, after inserting required booking reference number and last name, i was not allowed to proceed and a text appeared saying: “Please contact Qatar Airways Local office to create the complaint!” Then I tried call on the same number again for Qatar Airways in Athens airport several times, but no one was answering anymore.
I understand that there are Easter holidays in Greece right now, but shouldn’t there be 24h customer assistance line open in Qatar Airways Athens office, if it’s advised so on the website or is there any other way how I could proceed with submitting my claim for mishandled baggage?
