I intend to travel to USA from Kolkata Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport (CCU) by Qatar Airways Flight. I am planning to travel from Kolkata on 1st December in Qatar airways. I have a baggage that has got the length of 5 feet maximum,and the weight of the baggage is below 15 kg. Hope I can carry that baggage with me as I come to the airport. I could carry the same size material in the past in the other flight companies and this is the first time I ma using Qatar airways. I have booked a flight from CCU to RDU. The flight is on 15th March 2019 and the ticket was booked on 6th March 2019. The last part of the journey has been given on American Airlines from Chicago ORD to RDU, however its on a single ticket. I will be having extra checked in luggage i. e weight will be exceeding 23kg on one piece of luggage.
So what will be the extra baggage charge? And will the charge will be separte on american airlines or just I will have to pay for qatar.
