Singapore Airlines was founded on 1 May 1947(69 years ago) (as Malayan Airways) and Commenced operations on 1st October 1972. These are the first airline to send a Boeing 747-400 commercial flight from Singapore across the Pacific.

Pregnancy rules:
- Expectant mothers can travel in Singapore Airlines till 36 th week of the Single pregnancy and 32 week for multiple pregnancy.
- After 28 th week, a medical certificate is required to travel which stated that you are fit to travel from your doctor or midwife.
- You must apply for medical clearance by submitting a medical information form (MEDIF).
