    I urgently need assistance.Tried calling many numbers no answer.
    My wife and kids left IAD on Friday flying to DSS, Senegal.
    They arrive to Dakar on Saturday and their luggages ae missing.
    Their final destination is Banjul, Gambia.
    They are stuck in Dakar and have to spend a lot of money between staying in a hotel and going back and fourt to the new airport.

      I flew from Ghana and arrived at Dulles airport on Monday 16 th of March 2020.
      One of my suitcases was mangled, the handle broken and contents destroyed inside.
      How do I report this and what happens after?
      All the numbers Iā€™ve been calling are not responded to.

    Dear Customer Care,

    I travelled on SAA 207 from Cape Town and landed at Washington DC this morning 24 January 2018. I unfortunately committed to collect my case: tag SA 0083399301 and just outside security was alerted by the security that I should have collected my luggage at port of entry. She however advised that it would take some time if I waited to collect (I could not go back in) it as the case would need to be security checked and she suggested that I proceed to take my connecting flight to Indianapolis – UA6126 with the understanding that if the case did not reach this flight in time that it would be sent to Indianapolis on the next flight.
    The case was not on the flight with me. I therefore reported this to the United Airlines baggage office in Indy Ref: IND63294M. I was informed that the next flight from Washington would land in Indy at 14h30 and that when it arrived it would be delivered to the hotel. I however have not yet received my case. I have sent the same message to SAAUS email address and received an automated response that I could expect a reply in 10 days.

    To SAA Corporate Officer:

    I made a flight reservation for Mr. Theodore Ashford III, Reference number ā€“ P33P8Y (travel from NY to Windhoek and back). I verbally made the reservation on the phone with a representative from South African Airways over the phone. I specifically made the reservation for March 2020. Your representative put February 2020 on the reservation. I made the mistake and did not notice that the reservation had the wrong MONTH list on it.

    I admit my mistake however I am asking for compensation by way of waiving the change fee of $500.00 due to your representatives mistake. South African Airways states that phone calls are recorded for quality purposes. The representative made a mistake and I believe that there should be some responsibility on the part of South African Airways. Please pull the recording and listen to the complete phone call where you can hear me say the dates of March 11, 2020.

    I trusted the representative and I trusted your airline.

    I hope that you will do the right thing.
