    Good morning sir/madame,

I would like to file a complaint about the way I was treated and cheated out of my money…and cannot find a Maltese number I can phone, to address my claim. Unfortunately, due to the language barrier I could get anywere with the Corsair representative….even in English.
After the way I was treated by Corsair airline I was only reimbursed Euro 163.82….from Euro 611.82.
The following emails are the correspondence and string of events that led to my cancelling of my flight…and asking for a reimbursement.

My father is writing on my behalf…..Email address : [email protected] ; 00356 7949 7504.

Subject: DEMANDE DE REMBOURSEMENT – REF 00674223

    Good afternoon sir/madame,

Today I phoned your office to enquire why the refund for the reimbursement of my cancellation was for only Euro 163.82 and not Euro 611.82ā€¦(refer to image attached).

The answer I received from you was, because the request I made for the refund, was forwarded to you on the 03.03.2021ā€¦i.e a week after the flight, not a week before the flight was scheduled (25.02.2021).

However, as you can see from the string of events below (scroll down), the request done by me was on the 15.02.2021ā€¦.a couple of weeks before the flight.
It was the acknowledgement sent to me from Corsair, that was dated the 03.03.2021ā€¦and that is not my faultā€¦.especially after you messed around with me on various occasions and changed our flights and airports.

That said, I do not expect or accept to be cheated of Euro 448, especially due to your companyā€™s inefficienciesā€¦.as I had filled in the form on the same day I received it, that is the 15.02.2021 (you can check from your records).

All that said, kindly reimburse me with the total amount of Euro 611.82 or you will be hearing from the EU consumer complaints departmentā€¦.as this saga has been going on for far too long now and my patience has now run out.

FOR YOUR PERUSAL, THIS IS A CHRONOLOGICAL RECORD OF EVENTS AS THEY HAPPENED :

ā€¢ Confirmation of first flight booking – 10/03/2020 (Booking Reference: K442ZC)

ā€¢ Flight was from Paris, Orly to Fort de France – On Thursday 28th May 2020 (Flight SS924)

ā€¢ Return Flight was on Monday 8th June 2020 from Fort de France to Paris, Orly (SS925)

ā€¢ On Wednesday 06/05/2020 I received an email stating that due to Covid Corsair has been forced to temporarily suspend its schedule of flights. Therefore, Corsair regretted to announce or confirm that my flight had been cancelled.

ā€¢ Due to this, I filled in the form provided by your company and took up the option of requesting a postponement of flight. My flight was supposed to be on Thursday 28th May 2020.

ā€¢ We picked our new flight dates which were:- Departure – Thursday 25/02/2021 from Paris, Orly to Fort de France (Flight SS924)

ā€¢ Arrival – 06/03/2021 from Fort de France to Paris Orly.

ā€¢ On Saturday 06/02/2021 I received another email changing our flightā€¦…due to government restrictions imposed in context to the health crisis. Again, we were forced to change our flight program.

ā€¢ Therefore, Flight SS924 Paris Orly to Fort de France from February 25, 2021 was changed again as follows:- Flight SS866 Departure on February 25 2021 from Paris Orly 4 at 13:00, arrival at 19:10 in fort de France same day. Planned stopover in Pointe a Pitre (So basically you changed the airport and time of our departure)

ā€¢ On Monday 15/02/2021 I received an email from you, Corsair stating that:- Due to new health constraints in force since 1st February 2021, travelers must justify a trip for compelling reasons.

ā€¢ In this same email (which I received on 15/02/2021) you asked me for confirmation of presence on board. Also, you gave us the option to fill in a form, which I did on that very same day you sent me the email, where I filled in the form and requested a refund. I had an option of either postponing, credit note or Reimbursement.

ā€¢ Supposedly, my new Flight schedule was going to be on the February 25th 2021 (so as you can check, I had filled in the form way before the flight 15.02.2021).

ā€¢ On Monday 15th February 2021, although I requested a refund, I still was kept informed with the covid situation. In this email I was told that due to government restrictions imposed, you were forced to change our flight schedule AGAIN. We were informed that flight SS925 Fort de France to Paris Orly 3 of 6th March 2021 was modified as follows:- flight departure on 6th March 2021 from Fort de France at 21:10, arrival at 10:45 in Paris Orly 3 on 7th March 2021. (Due to this change we would have arrived a day later than intendedā€¦not on the 6th March).

ā€¢ On Wednesday 3rd March I received my acknowledgment of my request for refund (Request reference 00674223). I received the acknowledgment 3 weeks and 2 days after I had filled it in (Flight would have already departed by the time I received the acknowledgment email).

ā€¢ Some time last week I contacted you again, where I asked you when I should be expecting my refund. You said I should be receiving an email within 2 weeksā€¦.however, I was not told , I was going to cheated out of Euro 448.

ā€¢ To my disgust, today (09/07/2021) I received the email regarding the reimbursement of only Euro 163.82….which is definitely not fair.

    Regards,
    Zack Bonnici

I tried phoning swiss air Valletta office malta on 21252020 to find out the address to book a flight departing on June 16th and returning June 26th or nearby dates for my friend and her husband. I was kept waiting for a long time with no one answering just music playing on and on. I hope that you will give me the details I require to be able to visit the office and book the flights.
