Hello Air China,
Iam Karol Kundrak, I flew with you yesterday 29/4 (CA110 HKG – BEIJING) and 30/4 ( CA841 BEIJING – VIENNA). I also had connecting flight before with Air Asia 29/4 (AK138 Kuala Lumpur – Hong Kong) on which my baggage got lost and its still in Hong Kong (Iam already in Vienna). I conntacted Air Asia and this is what they wrote me:
“As Air Asia is using an independent system, we canāt create a worldwide tracing reference for baggage handling.
Therefore, we canāt seek assistance for forwarding bags by other airlines.
As per our experience, we suggest passenger to contact the final airline for courtesy report then we can hand over the bag to the airline in Hong Kong for forwarding.
Please accept our apologies for inconvenience caused and kindly contact the airline you flight to Vienna for the circumstances.
We can hand over your bag to other airline in Hong Kong soon once receive the courtesy report.”
So as you were my airline I used to flight with to Vienna Iam contacting you and asking what should I do or what kind of steps should I make so that Air Asia can hand over my bag to you (Air China) so you could bring my baggage back to Vienna.
Thank you and waiting for your response
Best regards,
Karol Kundrak
