I have been trying to call you for a few days for help on a reservation. I am a travel agent. The phone number does not go through. Actually it won’t even ring. Is there another phone number you can give me for travel agency help ?

This is horrible customer service if I like the other customer on this site have been trying to call you for a few days for help on a reservation. I recently booked a trip and would like to amend the reservation. The phone number does not go through nor does it ring. Is there another phone number or have one of your agents call me back ASAP.
Iberia airlines told me it would cost $37.00 for a pre-assigned seat on my flight from Madrid back to JFK in new york. They charged my credit card and never sent my e-mail as promised with the confirmed seat assignment. I asked to speak to a supervisor about the problem and they left me on hold for 45 minutes and never came on line.
My mother had a reservation for a return flight from Rome, Italy, was told to arrive at airport at least 3 hours in advance. She did, she checked in her luggage only to be advised that the outgoing flight was cancelled. There ensued a series of transfers from Rome to Madrid and then to London. She was finally transferred onto a Norwegian flight from London to Oakland, California. Upon arrival her bags were not here. Never once was she advised to retrieve her bags in Rome. Once in Oakland, she went to get a baggage claim form to report lost luggage and was summarily denied a form. She was told that her luggage would arrive either that evening or next day. The rude gentleman (for lack better wording) only took her name and number. Now, three weeks later, with no PIR no. (baggage claim form), no direct contact number her bags are still missing. Noone will assist. Bad customer service. Once they do answer they are rude. Only help she has received is from service Agents in Oakland…(who dont work with the airline… go figure).
Iberia has the worst customer service I have ever experience from any company in my life! Since 3 days I try to modify a flight. Online it’s not possible and I spent already HOURS on the phone being put on hold for ever before always disconnecting me. No-one wants to help and they always tell me that they need to connect me to the right person but never do. It’s incredible!!
I have been trying to contact Iberia for a few days in order to resolve an issue with seat assignments. I paid for the assignments and they do not appear on the reservation on site. This problem can not be solved on the website. I have tried calling them using the USA phone number, I have called Spain and I have sent them a message through WhatsApp. Nothing goes through. They put you on hold and then hang up because you have been on hold too long! ARGH!
