I travelled via Porter Ottawa to Halifax on the 12th Economy fair. Apparently economy does not get to carry on luggage so must be checked in. I had a large overnight bag. Weight about 20 lbs. tops. I was charged 44 dollars each way, highway robbery. Porter will not see me again.

We had a 5 hour delay flying out of Fredericton to Ottawa on Friday, Feb.14 due to mechanical problems with the plane. We were travelling with two small children and had been at the airport two hours prior to our flight time. We also missed our plans for Friday in Ottawa as we didn’t get to our hotel until after 9:00 that evening. This is our first time flying with Porter. We were told that we would be eligible for some refund on our tickets if the delay was over three hours and was not because of weather conditions. Our confirmations number is KY9GJQ, I will await your reply. Thank you

How long will they keep cancelling flights and delaying flying into Canada? This is complete bs!!! Some of us want to visit our families!!! I guess we’re living in a Communist world now!!! – for a virus with a 99% survival rate – I call it bullsh*&!
Good luck with your airlines/country staying a float economically with keeping borders closed for months on end!

Hello, I would like to file a complaint about one of your employees in Ottawa. Her name is Azadeh Changizian. A few months ago, she participated in a TV show called (Befarmaeed Sham-Let’s dine together) which is a Farsi language cooking competition show. During her episode, Ms. Changizian spoke very disparagingly about French Canadians. I am an Iranian-Canadian married to a French Canadian and I think Ms. Changizian has to be reminded that if she is in public and declares that she works for Porter Airlines, she should be careful about her bigoted comments. I do not think she should lose her job or any other drastic consequences. I just think that she should be reminded that her conduct in any language or any setting should be in line with her employer’s code of conduct.

Below is a link to the episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seSWAhp4WoI&t=679s

I really do hope I hear from you soon,

    Best regards,

    Moji Adibpour-Lafrance

Can we please claim a refund on confirmation number W9TL3D as our cruise has been cancelled due to Canadian government restrictions and we will not be able to visit Canada from the U.K as we have further holidays planned for the next 18 months. I await your reply.

    Hello Porter,

Your computer has made a mistake. My flight is not until October 6th – more than FIVE WEEKS from now (see Confirmation Number FD1K9U). So it is incorrect – and misleading – to tell me I’ll “see [you] in just a week.”

This email alarmed me. I expect it was some kind of attempt to let people know that Porter will be resuming flights here in just a week. But that’s not what it said. Please make sure your future notifications are clear and accurate, and avoid causing this kind of misunderstanding and alarm.

Incidentally, there is also an error on your website at St. Johnā€™s flights under the heading “Book flights today with Porter Airlines (flyporter.com)”

It says: “Good times in the Maritimes – Natural attractions, oceanside history, and small-town charm, experience Canadaā€™s Atlantic coast in true maritime fashion when you book flights to St. Johnā€™s, Newfoundland.”

But St. John’s is NOT in “the Maritimes”. It is in Newfoundland. Newfoundland and Labrador is not and never has been one of the Maritime Provinces. Please correct your website and stop perpetuating misinformation about our province.

A reply would be appreciated. I tried to find an email address for you but none is available.

    Dear friends at Porter,

With carbon emissions so high from air flights it is distressing to receive your ads encouraging non-essential travel. Please think about what you are doing to our planet. Millions are already suffering because of the contributions you are adding to airplane emissions. Be a leader in encouraging a reduction in such emissions. As we learned again from COP26, they are a serious contributor to undermining the capacity of our planet to sustain life.

We need your leadership – desperately.

    Sincerely,

    Joy Woolfrey
