Further to my emails dated 16/9/16, 19/9/16, 23/9/16, 26/9/16, 3/10/16, 10/10/16.
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Flights – departure non-EU
The issue that I have experienced was: We bought TWO Return Air Tickets in Shenyang.
6th Sept 2016 Nagoya to Beijing CA160, Beijing to Qingdao CA1571
11th Sept 2016 Shenyang to Beijing CA1652, Beijing to Nagoya CA159
On 06/09/16, at the Air China check in counter in Nagoya airport, we asked the lady staff whether we can cancel the air ticket from Beijing to Qingdao but remain the reservation of 2 tickets on 11/09/16, back from Shenyang to Beijing and Beijing to Nagoya.She told us that it can be done but 11/09/16 reservation had to did it in China. After double confirmation from her, we proceeded with our journey.
On 11/09/16, at Air China check in counter in Shenyang airport, the staff told us to call Hot Line 9583 and we were shock to know that ‘ DUE TO THE CANCELLED OF THE FLIGHT FROM BEIJING TO QINGDAO, THE RETURN TRIP WAS AUTO CANCELLED. ‘ this is different from what we were told by the Air China check in counter, lady staff in Nagoya airport. We were very upset & angry of the misleading of the staff that she did not provided the reliable information and end up we have to waste our time searching, calling, tired and disappointed. End up we had to buy extra tickets that cost 3,900 RMB (from check-unit air ticket at Lianning Foreign Affairs Office č¾½å®å¤åčŖē©ŗå®ē„Øå¤ļ¼é«ę § – ē»ēļ¼HP: āŖ13322432908ā¬) on top of emotionally suffer….!!!
Due to Air China check in counter, lady staff, in Nagoya airport provided misleading information and resulted additional expenditure on the purchased of TWO RETURN AIR TICKETS, we are seeking compensation on these extra air tickets that we have purchased.
It occurred on: September 6th, 2016
CLAIMS FOR THE REFUND OF THE AIR TICKETS AMOUNT $3,900 RMB
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.
