    Hi, I flew from New Delhi to Chicago on 23rd morning 2.30 am Flight AI 127 . Upon arrival at ORD Chicago was told my bag was never loaded in plane and had me fill up Property irregularity report and was told with 48 hrs Air India will contact me about my luggage update. It’s been 72 hrs pass no one contacted me. The number 773-686-1435I was provided to contact them at Chicago no one ever pick up that phone despite I called 26 times no voice mail either. Please help. Attached file contains My luggage tag info.

  Called 001-773-6861460 and says the mail box is full. It is hard to reach any live agent. I tried other toll free numbers also. Poor maintenance.

  I flew from Delhi to Chicago (ORD) on 11Nov by flight no 127.On reaching I found my baggage missing . After numerous enquiries I was asked to fill irregularity report and assured that baggage would be delivered on the given address but four days passed there ig no trace of baggage.I made various attempts to contact air india agencies by contact no ,email but of no avail. I was surprised to see such a irresponsible staff and got assured myself to never travel by air india in future and advise the same to others.Thank a lot air india and staff for worst experience.

    Hello,
    I am facing the same problem with Air India. One of bags is delayed and the air india is not responding as to the status of where the bag is. Were you able to trace your bag and was it delivered to you. If so how did you get in touch with Air India? Please let me know.

    Hello. I am also facing the same problem. I travelled from delhi to chicago on 21st jan in AI127. On arrival I realized one of my check jn baggage is missing, i was told to fill a property irregularity form and they said the bag would be sent in 2 days . Its been more than 10 days , no response from airindia , all the numbers are unreachable . Please contact me at 6178183921 or 6124426694 . My tag number was AI500743

  I flew from Delhi to Chicago (ORD) on Jan 23rd by flight no AI127.On reaching Chicago Airport , I found my baggage missing . I filed a baggage lost report in Chicago airport and I was assured that baggage would be delivered on the given address but next day. It has been one week already and thee is no trace of baggage. I made various attempts to contact +1 7736861435/ +1 7736861460 given on the claim receipt for Air India baggage services in Chicago airport . No body picks up the calls and do not call back after leaving voice messages multiple times. On one phone number the voice box is full. That is the level of such an irresponsible, unprofessional customer service from Air India. They don`t even see if their voice mail can accept voice message. I emailed [email protected] also which game me a reference number and that is it. No trace of bag and did not make an inch of progress. I also emailed [email protected] and no progress. Loosing bag is one thing but the frustrating experience is that there is no call back, no response on the tracing from customer service, no ownership, unprofessional behavior from customer service by keeping call on hold for hours and getting auto disconnected . This is my frustrating experience for travelling with Air India.

  These are absolute thieves. They are withholding refunds for flights they cancelled due to COVID19. I am waiting on $1550 refuind for over 6 weeks now. But do not worry, you do not know me. I will go to DOT secretary Pete Buttegieg if required. You steal money in the US from citizens, you will not be able to do business in this country. Rest assured.

  Same experience – missed baggage on AI127 (16th Jan) – no response from Chicago (either on email or phone).
  Delhi says it’s loaded as per their records.

  Have any of you visited Chicago airport AI-counter? We do not live in Chicago, and are planning a trip just to be able to talk to them face-to-face — do you guys think its worth the pain of driving ~4/5 hours?

  Same experience with AI 127,
  My parents travelled on 23rd Feb 2022 and their one bag didnt make it to ORD.
  No Answer from Delhi, Chicago. no accountability shown by airindia. Called Delhi intl baggage numbers, people are sitting chatting and laughing keeping phone aside. what ridiculous level of service is this?
