Air Seoul is a South Korean low-cost carrier and a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines. The airline is based at Incheon International Airport in Seoul, from which it operates flights to international destinations. It launched operations on 11 July 2016.
The airline was established on 7 April 2015. In June 2016, Air Seoul operated trial flights within South Korea.
Air Seoul Hand / Cabin Baggage Allowance
- One piece of carry-on baggage measuring no more than 115cm (A+B+C) and weighing less than 10kg (22lbs).
- Maximum length per side 55cm x 40cm x 20cm
Air Seoul Checked Baggage Allowance
- Checked baggage cannot exceed 203cm(A+B+C) in total dimensions and 15kg(33lbs) in weight.
Air Seoul Excess Baggage Allowance
- Excess baggage charges are applied
The Air Seoul (RS) baggage policy for regular basic fares include the following:
- 1 carry-on item – Fee free
- 1 personal item – Fee free
- Checked baggage / Hold luggage
- Overweight and Oversize bags – Applicable fees per bag depending on weight and size categories.
- Sports equipment – Certain items might have applicable fees.
- Air Seoul’s (RS) carry-on baggage policy
- Air Seoul (RS) allows 1 carry-on bag per passenger fee free.
Carry-on should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions:
- 115cm (A+B+C) and weighing less than 10kg (22lbs).
- Maximum length per side A(Length) 55cm, B(Width) 40cm, C(Height) 20cm
- Fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.
The following personal items may be carried on board in addition to carry-on baggage:
- Small briefcases, handbooks, laptops, books, and small duty-free goods
- Baby food for in-flight use
- Canes or crutches used by passengers with physical disabilities
- Guide dogs for the visually impaired
- Small, fully collapsible strollers
Excess Baggage Fees for International Flights:
- Fees for adding one extra baggage(15kg)
- Numbers of allowed pre-paid excess baggage (23kg) (2 bags per person)
Special Excess Baggage fee for Air Seoul’s (RS)
For extra baggages including various sporting goods, excess baggage fee will be charged based on separate rules and procedures.
1 .Golf Equipment
- 23kg or less (1 golf bag + 1 general bag) : 1 piece ā Considered as 1 bag (No fee is collected)
- More than 23kg (1 golf bag + 1 general bag) : 2 pieces ā Considered as 2 bags (Extra fee is collected)
- Oversize fee is exempted when the total of three sides is 277cm or less
2. Ski/Snowboard
- 23kg or less (1 golf bag + 1 general bag) : 1 piece ā Considered as 1 bag (No fee is collected)
- More than 23kg (1 golf bag + 1 general bag) : 2 pieces ā Considered as 2 bags (Extra fee is collected)
- Oversize fee is exempted when the total of three sides is 277cm or less
3. Surfboard / Windsurfing / Scuba Diving Supplies / Bicycle:
- Same as regular baggage standard when number and weight are exceeded
- Oversize fee is exempted when the total of three sides is 277cm or less
- Sports baggages other than those liste above, are subject to the same rules as those applied to regualr baggages.

Baggage Compensation Liability
- If baggage is damaged, report within 7 days of retrieving luggage.
- If the baggage is lost or delayed, report the issuewithin 21 days of checking in luggage.
