Hello, I phoned air asia on Tuesday 12th june 2018 to see if I could a refund for a lady who was ment to be travelling with us an has stage 4 cancer and cant travel. I was told by your staff that our whole trip had been cancelled and the plane was not leaving new zealand. That the cancelling had happened that day and were emailing everyone that day! I have still not had conformation of this
I was told the only recourse I have is to contact air asia via email. I have sent 2 emails with no response. My booking number is FIITRV . I am very unhappy with this as I can stil book a seat on the same flight out of nz to kl and have expressed I will take aa to there or another option suggested by aa was a flight via Bangkok. We dont care we just want to get there to meet family. You have had our money since january and now you tell me my flight is cancelled but still selling seats on the same flight???
As I have had no response from you and I have no recourse I will be contacting our nation wide TV programme FAIR GO and expose this scam.
I have been more than fair with you and this is unexceptable standards.

100% spot on!! Air Asia doesn’t respond to emails, messages on FB or Twitter, or even phone calls! It is a mafia organisation, and no-one should book a flight with Air Asia anymore!!

We have had been told this is being sorted but it is taking months,

I booked a flight Auckland to Bangkok via KL and return in early September 2018. On my return leg I was booked on an early 8.30 am flight Bangkok to KL. I tried to change this as I was unwell with a chest infection but couldn’t get hold of air Asia on their so called 24/7 chat line. I changed to an AA flight in the afternoon and was connecting with a KL to Auckland flight at 2340hrs. On arrival at the departure gate to board the plane I was told I couldn’t board because I hadn’t taken the early flight. I asked to purchase another ticket and this request was refused. I was left at KL at midnight with no options to go back to NZ. I had the Air Asia app on my phone which at no time alerted me to any issues with my booking. I was not aware of what I consider is an obscure rule. I complained in writing and eventually got hold of the NZ number because there had been no response. I was told that Air Asia had closed the case as it had been a breach of their fare rules and that they did not intend responding by e mail as agreed to let me know. The person I spoke to by phone was of no help whatsoever and throughout this experience the Air Asia customer service has been atrocious. Fair go (0211265269)

    Hi
My flight with Air Asia was L29BYN in 2020. (one is TMEHZD Auckland to Bali / the other is LU3KRF from Bali to Kuaka Lumpur and then to Osaka Japan in Nov 2020)
I booked the above flights through Go TO GATE net agent. The agent told me to contact Air Asia and ask Air Asia to inform to GO TO GATE that actually my flight had been cancelled.
I really need the refund of this cancelled flight.
Could you please contact GO TO GATE for my refund? Otherwise I can not trust Air Asia any more.
    Thanks, Keiko

R5ZBJJ ā€¢ Air asia canceled my flight Case number 111629300 ā€¢ 29/09/2022 I was led to believe my refund would happen within 2 weeks. It has now been a month and given I had to book new flights I would like my money back ASAP. It has been “processing” for 3 weeks now

Hi please Iā€™m trying to get in touch as we have booked tickets to Australia to go back home but Auckland has been declared a state emergency? We booked through kiwi.com and said to call the airlines. Please let me know what to do please. What about our tickets please

    • Asha

Do not call airlines. Even their virtual support is useless in processing refunds and credit due to cancelled flights. I am onenof the cancelled flights in auckland as well. Best to go to the airport and start demanding something or maybe request for a reschedule of flight.

    Hi There,

I have booked two tickets from Sri Lanka to Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur to Auckland, but I haven’t received the tickets yet only received an email confirmation. we will have transit through Australia to Auckland in just one hour and 15 minutes layover in Sydney, which means we don’t need to change the flights.

    Thank you
    Aslam

So I get a flight cancellation fee from you. I waste an hour with “bo” putting the correct details in and it says they dont match so I cant get a refund. No people, no phone numbers – you are a bunch of thieves. YY94QK

Tried for days to book with air asia on line. The web site is a mess. Bo the help robot Bo is a fool. There are no help line phone number s except one that no longer works. There is no e-mail address.

Basically Air Asia has no customer service and has gone from being very good pre Covid to a total joke that I would not trust with my money if I could book a flight. My advise is to not waste your time trying to book.
