When it comes to getting a refund due to a medical emergency and they agree to a refund on compassionate grounds, you hit a brick wall.
“In response to your email, we are pleased to offer you a ‘Credit Account’ on compassionate grounds.”
They will not return emails, they are near impossible to get hold of and generally just muck you around. It’s a real shame because they are great value to fly with, always on time and I usually never have any complaints. But they have dropped the ball badly on this occasion. 1/10.
Think twice before buying ticket at AirAsia, – they don’t have any actual support in Thailand. No phone number you can call – i called all the numbers provided here, they are not working. No one to deal with any kind of problem. No refund in case your flight was cancelled. – At least I cannot get mine for over 10 months. And what is the worst – after several months they send letter offering to credit account (i requested refund before), but don’t do it in fact. The only way of communication with them is virtual assistant, which gives mistake when you try to get offered credit. Several of my friends got absolutely the same situation, same letters offering to credit account – that just don’t work. That’s my worst experience even during COVID times. All airlines have problems, but at least other companies react somehow and offer decisions. Stay away from this company, at least for the travels inside Thailand there are other options to choose.
The worst app and web site i have ever been onć So Confusing and for some reason always ends up sending you to Air Asia India and all with virtual assistants who can not assist in anythingļ¼ćQuite terribleć
