Hostage Situation at Hamburg Airport Germany on November 5 th 2023
In the Hamburg Airport, a 35 year old man drove his car with a gun along with his 4 year old child as a hostage into the Airport Tarmac. He parked his car under Turkish airlines. Immediately all the flights were suspended and airport was closed.
In between Police Spokeswoman Sandra Levgruen told that their officers were checking about the suspect has any explosive materials with him.
More than 30, 000 passengers were affected due to rerouting of the plane, airport closure. Some passengers are asked to stay at the the nearby hotels.
Police and Airport officials working hardly to resume the flight operations widely.
Reason behind why the man carried gun into the Hamburg Airport with his child
The man allegedly reported that under a Child custody dispute, he kidnapped his child and wanted to travel Turkey with his child. So he parked his car under Turkish plane at Hamburg Airport.
Already his wife called and alerted the airport.
