    I need a telephone number for the Baggage Department of Austrian Airlines at O’Hare International Airport. I believe my lost luggage is sitting in your facility in Chicago. A claim has been filed and the baggage has now been missing for 2 weeks and I am getting no help from your online missing baggage customer service… just general “still tracing” responses. I need to speak to someone on the ground in Chicago.

    My name was misspelled on my ticket reservation and I’m flying internationally on multiple airlines with the major one being Australia Airlines controller of the ticket.
    When the booking was made the third party travel agency system used Tracy, instead of Tracey…..it’s only missing the E.
    I’ve been trying to correct this for approximately one month now and everyone is giving me the run around because a third party Travel Agency (CheapOair ) was used to purchase our tickets.
    Starting with;
    with United Airlines who advised that they could correct it but will note their account.
    reference the missing E of my name but advised that they couldn’t physically change it because it belongs to Australia Airlines. They referred to contact my travel agency and or Australia Airlines for a resolve.
    So I contacted my travel agency first and was told to just show up to the airport on departure day and ask them to change it at that time. Not cool. Only to be then left behind when Australia Airlines says “NO”…..
    Next I contacted Australia Airlines on 10/09/2020 and spoke with Australia Airlines Rep who advised that the incorrect spelling reference the one “missing letter” E from my first name WILL effect entry and boarding from their stand point…..when I travel in 3/2021.
    She advised to contact Cheapoair and have them send in a request to Australia Airlines reference correcting my name by adding the E…..also advise that I will have to provide supported document (passport photo) so the E can be added. This is Australia Airlines told me to do to resolve.
    I contacted Cheapoair on that same day, spoke with representative who noted our account and put in a written request to have Australia Airlines to corrected the spelling of my first name with supported document.
    Only now for Australia airlines to refuse CheapOair’s waiver because they don’t do name changes….Really?
    It’s a correction! …..correction from Tracy to Tracey.
    Why would Australia Airlines Rep make me go through all of this if they were going to deny it?
    Help!
