      I have a lost luggage last March 30, 2017. I was given a property irregulatory report (PIR) by the China Eastern Sky Team or lost and found attendant in Shanghai International Airport, but until now i have no feedback about may Luggage (Back pack). Please Advice. Thanks

      My scheduled departure of Flight no. MU 5009 on 10th June 2017 09:05 a.m. was delayed by more than 16 hours and departed on 11th June 2017 at 1.20 p.m. The China Eastern staff didn`t explain the reason of delay, did not provide any food or hotel. Further, according to your company policies, if the flight is delayed by more than 6 hours, you must refund me a percentage of my flight fares. I DEMAND to get a compensation for the inconvenience otherwise I will have to sue your company China Eastern Airlines.

      Please treat this matter at high priority and take some needful action soon.

      I need to submit the below complaint regarding Baggage mishandling during my flight, I need the complaint registration email urgently.
      Dear Team

      This is regarding my travelling from New Delhi (India) to Shanghai (China) from CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES, PNR no:1AMALSLV. The flight was going fine till Shanghai.

      But, I have faced the following problems.:

      1. Flight was delayed by around 2 hrs. & reached around 13:00 hrs.

      2. After that I could not found my baggage for next 2-3 hours due to which my meetings at China got delayed.

      3. I was really shocked when I opened my baggage after reaching at my Hotel that My baggage was completely filled with WATER. My all clothes were wet & a single cloth was not in condition to wear. My camera was also inside my baggage, which also got completely in water, now that is not working.

      4. I had to stay in China for next three (03) days but I was unable to wear my clothes since all were dipped into water & condition was not good.

      5. Please see the attached photos & videos.

      As it was my first time in china & I faced the worst experience of my life.

      So team please look into this matter urgently, because its not small thing and I need the compensation from airlines.
      I am attaching all the related photos for the same.

      not helpful Flight got cancelled today from shanghai. I booked a ticket from China eastern airways, but they said flight got cancelled by southern airways so we cant help. southern airline saying its not our problem talk to eastern airlines

      On 27 July 2018 I booked a return trip Bangkok – Hiroshima with e-travel SA, also known as mytrip.com
      Flight number MU 9842 on Thursday 23rd August, confirmation number NCSNXF
      Names:

      Return flight was to be on September 4th.

      On August 22nd I was informed by China Eastern that the flight would possibly be cancelled due to weather conditions. We did go to the airport to the check in desk but were advised to go back home. Since there were no nearby options we had to cancel our whole trip. Mytrip.com confirmed there I had the right to a refund. Since then nothing has happened. I have sent multiple mails, get a reply that someone will contact me, but that never happens. We have phoned 3 or 4 times and then they put the blame on you saying there is no response from China Eastern.
      Please help me to get this settled. I would very much appreciate your intervention if possible.

      I bought the round trip ticket for Hong Kong to Mandalay from your airline. E-ticket number is 781276661046869. The ticket was bought by the agent (cheaptickets.hk, booking number: CHK-3539854). I left on 22 Dec 2018 and supposed to return on 5 Jan 2019. Zhanjiang immigration denied entry to fly through Zhanjiang to Kunming because of visa issue. So, I stayed almost one day at there and went back to Hong Kong buying ticket from your airline. My E-ticket number of Zhanjiang to Hong Kong is 7813115847414.

      In this case, I want to complain two things:
      1) When I checked-in at Hong Kong Airport, your airline should check that I have required documents, eligibility to enter the destination country and enough time to transfer. However, the staff in the check-in counter allowed me to go without carefully checking all those stuffs.
      2) Your airline should use my remaining ticket as a payment for Zhanjiang to Hong Kong ticket. In The IATA Ticketing Handbook, in section 2.23.13 Inadmissible Passengers (INAD), 2.23.13.2 Procedures for Ticketing clearly states that “(C) Where the passenger is in possession of a return ticket this ticket should be used, or the value of the remaining coupons should be used as payment towards a new ticket in the event the original ticket can not be used as originally issued.”
      However, my original ticket was wasted and had to buy new tickets for whole journey (i.e. Zhanjiang to Hong Kong, Hong Kong to Mandalay and then Mandalay to Hong Kong again). I had a very bad experience in Zhanjiang but your airline didn’t take care anything. I feel that it is not really fair and want to claim compensation from your airline.

        I bought a round trip ticket for my mother MNL – PVG – HNL then back HNL – PVG – MNL, she leaves Manila last March 2, 2019.at6:35 AM, flight MU 0212 with a connecting flight MU 0571 arrived Honolulu March 2, 2019 at 8:10 AM. same day.
        The first half of her trip goes well, but on her return trip, She boarded flight MU 0572 from Honolulu to Shanghai ( PVG ) lMay 6, 2019, the itinerary indicated plane depart at 9:50 AM, and arrive Shanghai at 2:50 PM , May 7,
        My mother lost a connecting flight MU 0211 from Shanghai to Manila, I immediately go to the airport, talk to the Manager who identify himself as John, maybe on his middle 20s, narrate to him my mothers situation, and everything, but to my surprise, he instructed me to call the police IN SHANGHAI, so that my mother can be found, shes not going anywhere shes inside the airport, it is so easy to page her or one of the China Eastern Airline coordinate to the Security or the airport Police to find her, my Mom is almost 80 years old, she has a 3 wheel roller for her carry on, 5ft 1in in ht, almost white hair, she was Demi Sanchez,
        Please China Eastern Air try to find my mom and book her on your next flight to Manila.

      I WAS TRAVELING FROM MANILA TO ZHOUSHAN/PUTUOSHAN VIA SHANGHAI ON NOV. 11, 2019 VIA FLIGHT MU5205 AND LEFT A BLUE SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8 WITH CLEAR CASING ON BOARD THE PLANE. BASED ON CCTV FOOTAGE FROM SHANGHAI AIRPORT POLICE STATION, IT WAS CONFIRMED PHONE WAS IN MY BACK POCKET WHEN I BOARDED THE PLANE. BUT IT WASNT WITH ME WHEN I LANDED IN ZHOUSHAN/PUTUOSHAN. IT MUST HAVE FALLEN OFF ON MY SEAT.
      KINDLY CHECK IF YOUR CREW HAVE RECOVERED MY CELLPHONE FROM THE PLANE AFTER I DISEMBARKED. IT MAY BE WITH LOST & FOUND IN ZHOUSHAN AIRPORT BECAUSE SHANGHAI AIRPORT LOST & FOUND DID NOT HAVE IT.

      Hi, We are in Shanghai at Holiday Inn Hotel Hongqiao waiting for our departure on February 4 2020 on MU 589 at 2.20 PM to San Fransisco. As per the travel ban from USA that non American citizen can not land in USA coming from China. as we are Canadians looks like we will not able to board the plane . This is our return flight to Toronto via San Francisco.
      Please consider our case as this all happened so fast we request you to consider switching our departure to MU 208 departure date February 4 202 for two tickets and advise us what to do. We do not want to get stranded in PVG Shanghai . Please give us positive response as February 4 is fast coming. and need help.
