Sector from Washington D.C. and Los Angela to any other destination other than Addis Ababa and Middle east and Asia on Ethiopian Airlines’ route network. Each additional piece (bag) weighing up to 23 kgs (50Lbs) USD200.00
For Economy class weight of the bags is over 23 kgs but less than 32 kgs (51 – 70Lbs) USD60.00 per each bag

    This is Ainomugisha Safiki, i would like to travel from bangkok Thailand to Uganda wa my washing machine packed in a box whose weight is around 21kgs and dimensions 85x48x87cm and i want it taken as free baggage of my 2 bags given to me. is it allowed if not how do you charge it from Thailand to uganda. A gain for any excess kilogram how much do you charge?

    I fly from Denver (code-share with United Airlines) to central Africa. We purchased a suitcase yesterday after measuring its dimensions as under 62 inches. However, when reading the tag, we see the wheels should be included, which puts it over 62″. I cannot find the supplemental cost of overize for this bag, and I have had no luck getting the information by phone.

    I would be traveling to Tel Aviv from Mumbai and I am having one extra bag which would be around 23kgs. I would like to know what would be the charges for the same. I checked on the net it shows 60 $ for the same. But after asking the employees of Ethiopian airlines they stated it would cost me 266$ which is way to much.
