I am writing to you on behalf of Froebel Education Centre which is a karachi based school. Every year we take our students on international trips and we have never had to face any issue with moving dates or rescheduling. This year with costs being very high and the dollar rate fluctuating, we planned a local trip to Lahore and Islamabad. When we had done this planning we did not have a clue that Nawaz Sharif was going to land in Lahore on the same date us our students. As adults we understand that this should not disrupt fight schedules but the parents of students have started to panic and have been asking us to reschedule the program to a safer time.
All we are asking the airline to do is cooperate with us. i understand that you have policies and there are certain conditions that must be followed, but in our case we are in a difficult situation as payments have been made and we cant seem to withdraw now. Even if we agreed to pay for the cancellation charges, which we should principally not do as we are talking about students and all airlines in the world help and support students.
please understand our situation and give us the flexibility of either changing the dates or asking for refunding our money after deducting the cancellation charges. this an earnest request that we are making. if the parents decide to withdraw from the trip, we will have to face heavy damages and that is totally not fair. Being a new airline you are doing a fantastic job and that is why we selected you. Even when our kids have had to take connecting flights, we have chosen Fly Jinnah.
We would be greatly obliged if help may be provided to us and an acknowledgement of this email is made. We will be very grateful and plz keep in mind that this is for a school and for students. Thanking You and awaiting a reply.
