Hello,
My name is Nicolas Brown, I was scheduled to fly on Hong Kong Express (affiliated with Hong Kong airlines) on February 28 (Ticket # 8513410346715), from Chiang Mai, Thailand, to Hong Kong, with a scheduled layover, and then onto Hong Kong Airlines to my home, Vancouver, Canada.
Unfortunately, I was denied entry aboard the initial flight in Chiang Mai due to me being in a wheelchair. I was informed by airport staff and employees of Hong Kong Express that they could not accommodate me during the flight, as I am unable to walk and this could constitute a liability in case of emergency. I tried to previously contact Hong Kong Express and Hong Kong airlines of my situation (wheelchair) before my flight via Skype, but was unable to reach anyone who could help me.
While I understand this situation completely, I was still left to leave the airport and return to Chiang Mai and check into a costly hotel and re-book another flight (two days later) with another airline, who accommodated me without any problem.
The whole ordeal came at great financial and emotional cost to me, as I missed work at home in Vancouver, and was forced to book two nights in a hotel in Chiang Mai, and the cost of another ticket with another airline.
I booked my first ticket with Hong Kong express online through an agency called Travel2Be, and have contacted them for compensation, but they have informed me that they would only be able to issue a refund in Hong Kong Airlines were able to put a ‘note’ on my booking that Hong Kong airlines would allow a refund.
I understand that I purchased the ticket without the option of refund, I am kindly requesting any compensation that can be offered for my ticket.

I booked a flight with Hong Kong Airlines on Monday flying from Bangkok to Manila on 1/5/2020 Unfortunately the flight was cancelled yesterday. The ticket was booked via edreams but since the cancellation and taking my payment they have been most unhelpful.
Can you tell me whether Hongkong Airlines will be flying from Bangkok to Manila anytime before the 15 May. Are there any flights of yours going to the Philippines?
