How to change flight date / postpone / cancel the booked flight in Austrian Airline?
Change / reschedule your travel date in Austrian:
Here are the procedure to do online. You can also contact the travel agent to change your flight date
- Visit https://www.austrian.com/at/de/flugbuchung
- Enter the booking code, last name and last name (or)
- Austrian.com Profile (Login with Email ID & Password (or)
- Miles & More user ID / Number and Password / Pin
- Click “Log in” (or)
- Select the date you want to reschedule
- Confirm the submission.
How to get refund from Austrian airlines for unused / partially used flight tickets?
By online
- Visit https://www.austrian.com/at/de/kontakt#/
- Go to “Contacts” and Click ‘Ticket refund form’ under Flight details
- Enter the required details and make the payment if applicable.
Through Austrian Call Centre
- For any changes on partially used tickets, return tickets or tickets with multiple segments, Reroutings and cancellations, you can contact Austrian Worldwide Call Center.
Through travel agent
- If you have booked a Austrian flight ticket through any travel agent, please contact Travel Agency.
Austrian Airlines Fare Conditions on Ticket refund
Fare conditions to refund a ticket or any unused part are as follows:
- Refund must be done to the person named on the Ticket or to the person who paid for the Ticket subject and its proof.
- Refunds will only be made on surrender of the Tickets and all unused Flight Coupons.
Refunds voluntary reimbursement:
- If you want to claim a refund on cancellations, denied boarding due to overbooking and delays to flights, the amount of the refund.
- Cancellation fees will be refunded, if the Ticket has been not used for a flight, the fare paid will have less service charges.
- If a portion of the Ticket has been used for a flight, the refund will be the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the part of the route between the points for which the Ticket has been used, less any applicable service charges and cancellation fees.
Refunding a Lost Ticket:
- If you have lost a Ticket or a portion of it (with proof of the loss and payment of a reasonable administration charge), you’ll be refund the Ticket price after expiry of the validity period of the Ticket:
- That the lost Ticket (or a portion of it) was not redeemed or presented for carriage, refund or replacement.
- The person to whom the refund is made undertakes, in such form as may be prescribed by Austrian Airline, to repay the amount refunded in the event of fraud and to the extent that the lost Ticket (or a portion of it) was used or presented for refund or replacement by a third party.
