How to obtain a Saudia stopover visa?

Requirements to receive complimentary lodging

Only one complimentary one-night package per booking reference (either on the outbound or return trip) may be used.

The free one night accommodation will be in Jeddah, Riyadh or Madinah and in one of the eligible complimentary stopover hotels only.

We would like to inform you that the free one night package must be booked at least 48 hours before the departure time to ensure the completion of the booking, as it is not possible to make packages for the free one night if the time is less than 48 hours left to the flight departure.

Your first night of arrival is automatically included in the hotel free night, and it cannot be changed.

To take advantage of the complimentary accommodation offer, please show your boarding pass to the hotel receptionist when you check in.

Reservations for hotels are subject to the capabilities in effect at the time of booking. In the unlikely case that reservations are not possible, a request can be made using the online form.

In the event that a reservation is changed or an airline ticket is refunded, certain hotel policies will take effect.

Electronic Stopover Visa

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for issuing electronic stopover visas.

It has a 96-hour residence period and a 90-day validity duration from the date of issuance. The durations may vary in accordance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs requirements.

The visa for a stopover cannot be extended.

A single visa is good for one journey per booking, maximum of one stopover period.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ visa regulations are followed in the calculation and preparation of an individual’s visa costs, electronic service fees, medical fees, and insurance payments.

Acquiring an electronic stopover visa does not ensure entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the passport officer will examine the paperwork to confirm the accuracy of the submitted data.
