    Hi,

I am trying to purchase a 2019 Dangerous Goods Regulations online but it requires me to login. I’ve tried to create an account without success.

Can I buy it at the address below? If so, what are the opening hours?

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing an email to express my concern for Cathay Pacific Airways (IATA code:CX) is politically repressed by Chinese authority.

There is an on-going social movement in Hong Kong for the past two months. Many of demonstrators tried different measures including a peaceful strike at Hong Kong International Airport for voicing out their demands.

Cathay Pacific, a major flag carrier of Hong Kong, its crucial role came into focus much more recently. Thousands of its employees took part in this strike which the act which is entitled to all Hong Kong residents to have right to participate strike freely under the Basic Law. Yet, a few days later, Cathay Pacific and its employees have been exacted revenge and political repressed for the strike by Chinese Government.

Chinese Government forced Cathay Pacific CEO to give names of staff joining Hong Kong protest with a threat that disallowing planes of Cathay Pacific flies over China and disapprove the pro-rally crews to fly to China. Yet CEO refused to do that. Cathay had eventually terminated two pilots in association with activities related to the protests and the company announced that CEO Rupert Hogg and Chief Commercial Officer Paul Loo were out on 16th Aug. According to the latest news on 23/8, two more pilots with over 20-years working experience and one female Union president in connection of the protests were fired. It is pessimistically assumed that more and more crews taking part in the protest would be forced to resign in the future under threats from Chinese Government. Cathay is solely grappling with threats from Chinese Government.

Chinaā€™s unreasonable and outrageous suppression to Cathay Pacific and its flight crews not just hinder the development of air industry but also damage rights and duties of flight crews. It goes to destroy the spirit of air freedom of the Air which are a set of commercial aviation rights granting a country’s airlines the privilege to enter and land in another country’s airspace. Cathy Pacific and its crews should not be threatened with banning flying over Chinaā€™s land and entering China respectively due to any political reason.

IATA, as the largest representative of air industries and airspace optimizer in the world, should aims at advocating for the interests of airlines across the globe, and challenge unreasonable rules and charges, holding regulators and governments to account, and striving for sensible regulation. NO airline should be blocked because of political suppression. We sincerely wish you to condemn Chinaā€™s intervention in Cathy Pacific and support its staff participating in strikes.

    Best wishes,
    A concerned citizen

    Dear Sir/Madam,

How are you? I would like to ask some information regarding the training requirement of Instructional Techniques for DGR – Categories 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. I actually speak fluent English and have over 5 years working experience in warehousing management. I currently have passed Initial Dangerous Goods Regulations Training (Category 3). Therefore, what other training courses require to achieve before I can apply above instructional techniques for DGR training course. It is because our company require an internal DGA training for our staff and workers. Please feel free to give me the information for our next step.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Dear IATA,

I have a serious complaint on ā€œCheapTickets.hkā€ a member of IATA has kept my refund money HK$ 13,756 for 3 months.

I got the refund email from CheapTickets.hk on 16 June 2020 regarding my Booking Reference CHK-5133350 (Flights to Iceland and Finland) was canceled and they would refund the ticket fee to my credit card around 10 working days. However, I have called CheapTickets.hk hotline +852 800 906 909 many times but their hotline was automatically cut off. I also wrote emails to CheapTickets.hk (email : [email protected] ) on 22 July, 31 July, 13 Aug, 25 Aug and 3 Sept 2020 for checking the refund arrangement and credit card transaction details, but I donā€™t have any reply from them.

I understood itā€™s a challenging moment for all airlines and travel agents caused by COVID-19. I just wanted CheapTickets.hk tell me when the refund will be bank-in to my credit card? But they have ignored my request.

I am very disappointed with CheckTickets.hk, I wanted to complain about their poor service quality and their irresponsible attitude on refund arrangement. I wondered is it a fraud case?

I will be extremely grateful if you could help me with the refund issues.

    Best regards,
    Maggie Chan
