I intend to book a premium economy flight to Los Angeles. The return flight takes 36 hrs due to long transit time in Narita.
Could you please kindly advise:
1) Can I check my luggage straight through from LAX to KUL if the arrival and departure airport is Narita?
2) Due to the long hour of transit, could I exit the airport and stay overnight in an airport hotel near the airport?
3) With a through checking with boarding pass from Narita to Kul, do I need to recheck in?
4) I presume if I choose to stay overnight outside the airport, I need to go through immigration ?
What type of covid test results acceptable by JAL to go back to US transiting in Narita. My son’s flight is on 15th January 2022.

I am travelling this Sunday from KL to Narita via Japan Airline and need to transit to Haneda to catch the flight from America Airline to LAX and then to Phoenix. The layover is 10 hrs and I would like to know whether DO I need to check out my luggage and bring over to Haneda or will be transferred by the airline.
