    We flew from Heathrow with JAL to Haneda on 15/5/17 and returned on 26/5/17. Both flights were excellent and I would just like to compliment your company and crew on the quality and level of service they provide. We have flown to Japan many times, with various airlines (some we would never use again) but each time we have flown with JAL the service has been second to none.
    This trip was a special early celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary in July this year and we had an amazing time in Japan. I would like to pay tribute to the crew on our return flight which departed from Haneda on the morning of 26 May. When they learned of the reason for our visit quite a number of the cabin crew came & congratuled us and the chief steward ess spent quite a time chatting with us. They were very interested to hear my husband had spent 15 years growing up in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese. They were just so lovely and showed genuine interest and enthusiasm in congratulating us. They gave us a lovely little card with a hand-written message of congratulations on the back and some gift wrapped Japanese biscuits-this was after we were unable to accept some complimentary wine as we had to make a connecting flight. They were so disappointed we could not accept this and we were so touched that they went to the trouble of finding an alternative.
    It is quite rare and therefore good to recognise excellent service, professionalism and ‘genuine’ and sincere customer care, that I wanted to pass on our thanks and hope this will be able to be conveyed.
    We look forward to flying with JAL next time we visit Japan and will certainly give high recommendations to friends. The Japanese culture is unique in its level of customer care and JAL is no exception.
    Thanks again for helping to make our trip so special.

    Hello.
    My mum is travelling from Heathrow to Haneda in December. She is elderly and requires airport assistance. I did an online check on Heathrow airport’s website and it directed me to the JAL Heathrow telephone number but these seem to be not working. How would I go about getting airport assistance for my mum please?

    When I phone the booking and customer service number the message says ‘the office is closed’. BUT does not say when the office is open!! VERY UNHELPFUL. They have cancelled my flight and now I have no idea when I can try to change it.
    Covid-19 seems to be an excuse for every inefficiency and poor service.

    Wednesday 20th July, 2022 at 14:15 – JL-0611 Haneda to Nagasaki
    Sunday 24th July at 13:55 – JL-3537 Fukuoka to Sendai

    I have been trying to speak to a JAL Agent in the London office +44 344 8 569 778 to cancel these flights. Reason is KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have cancelled my international flights to Japan.
    I have called the London number 5 times, entered my JMB login 408 692 727 and waited for an hour each time!
    I understand that Ā£109.70 is not refundable BUT I feel that JAL should compensate me with at least Ā£109.70 for trying to cancel the flights so that I do not appear as a “NO SHOW”.
    I also feel that JAL should compensate me for waiting for a response during 5 telephone calls each lasting an hour.
    I want to cancel my flights so that another JAL customer can benefit and enjoy these flights.

    I CAN NOT GET MY TELEPHONE CALLS ANSWERED DUE TO THE LINES HAVING MANY CALLS … SO I KEEP RINGING BACK LATER AS, THE MESSAGE SAYS, ONLY TO GET THE SAME MESSAGE … FOR 2 DAYS!

    Dear Sir, Madam,
    Last week I received notice of changes in flights to and back from Japan on July 15 and August 10 respectively, for me and my family (spouse, 2 children and 2 grandchildren). The schedule change of the flights Brussels_Helsinki Vantaa_Tokyo Haneda (JL48, July 15) is OK, but not the changes of the flight Tokyo Haneda_London Heathrow_Brussels (JL43, August 15).
    Therefore, instead of flying to and stopping in London Heathrow, I would like the following: August 15 Tokyo Haneda_Helsinki Vantaa 21H50_04H40 (on August 16); Helsinki Vantaa_Brussels Zaventem 07H40_09H15.
    I have been trying the mentioned phone numbers to reach the office in London for two days now, but to no avail (all operators are busy), like experienced by several other customers as I can read!
    Can you help me by contacting me directly? You should have my lobile phone number and you have my email address.

      OOPS ! sorry, my mistake: return flight from Haneda is on August 10th not 15th !
      But could also be on August 11th or even 12th if easier.

    Dear Sir/Madam I am contacting you regarding a double booking for a flight to Tokyo in October. So I have a very serious problem which we need rectifying with urgency. We have double booked the exact same flight JL004/JL0041 On 17th of October 2023 One booking with Sky wings and one with yourselves these bookings were made in error on Friday 24th March Angela Driver my partner tries on several occasions to contact JAL on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th but couldn’t get through on the 03448569778 Tel number finally Angela got through to an operator on Monday 27th March
    After a period of time we were told that we couldn’t get a full refund even though we tried o cancel within the 24 hour slot but couldn’t get through to you even after waiting on the phone for over an hour each time the situation is we have saved for years to get this holiday and have now been told that we will only get about half the money back which we cant afford so its imperative we obtain the full refund.
    The tickets with yourselves are for seats on the very same flight for Angela Driver and Stephen Pilbrow the two reference numbers for you to check are flight JL0044 outbound and JL0041 Inbound Ref 65TSJO – JAL and reservation 42S3SG From Skywings
    Its apparent that we cannot use both as that’s 4 seats for 2 people? When we talked to the your JAL operative she said we could only get a partial refund making the accidental booking a loss of almost Ā£1000 for nothing we cant pay that we have no savings and both retired If we had managed to contact you on the Saturday we would have had a full refund but this wasn’t possible (NO ANSWER) so Angela phoned at the first opportunity working day Monday but still we cant get the full refund
