I just want to say how very dissatisfied I am with Qantas and the way in which the Kalgoorlie airport handles their communication. Over the past few months my husband and I have experienced delays with numerous flights departing Kalgoorlie.
We are left waiting for hours with no explanation which is absolutely ridiculous. The Airport team and Qantas need to inform people so they can make the necessary arrangements with family regarding caring for their children or missing connecting flights.
My flight departing this afternoon from Kalgoorlie 1609 which was delayed multiple times with absolutely no explanation until about 8pm when people became angry and demanded an explanation. Why does it have to get to this point? Eventually after a few more hours with limited communication the flight was cancelled at 11.30pm.
We were left waiting for hours with no food, water or accommodation. The Qantas lounge was disgusting, with no water, no hot or cold filter tap working, coffee machine broken, no food, over crowed, not maintained at all. No offer of blankets or pillows as we had to sleep on the floor or sit on the chair for the whole night. We eventually departed 14 hours later.
Honestly not acceptable:(
