    This is regarding Flight 471 from Toronto to Paris, which was cancelled March 6/19. My son and 10 other students and a teacher are still in a hotel in Toronto. This was supposed to be an experience of a life time and it is nothing short of a nightmare. Last night my son and 3 other boys were forced to share a room. This is totally unacceptable as my son had to sleep on a couch with his feet on a chair because he’s 6’2″.
    The handling of this by Lufthansa is deplorable. Being a one income family saving for this trip wan’t easy. I trust Lufthansa will refund the full cost of the flight.
    Marketplace would love to hear how these students were separated and shuffled off to various parts of the world. Not to mention missing the first 3 days of their World War 2 tour. It meant so much to them. Some having relatives who died for our country and are buried at the Canadian Military Cemetery.
    I trust Lufthansa will do whats right!

    Terrible customer service. I asked to have an electric vehicle in the connecting airport as the connecting time was very short and I cannot run or walk fast enough. I was refused. When I wanted to talk to the supervisor he refused to talk to me.
    Lufthansa you probably cut the costs, but your services are far from what they used to be. Still the ticket prices are up.

    How they have sunk in recent years…. the airline, not the Toronto office, with whom I did not interact.
    my last two flights both missed their own lufthansa connections.
    They are a far cry from what they used to be even a few years ago…

    I’m flying to Budapest via Frankfurt. We are fully vaccinated. All I need to know if can I travel with my Canadian passport or I need to get a Hungarian one. There is no way to get ahold of anybody at Lufthansa. The phone number doesn’t work; it says it has been changed and the other one doesn’t even ring. The online Chat session never starts with a real person. Just a Chatbot that only understands the 5 topics that they programmed in and no option further. There is an app that puts you in line with your phone number to get a representative to call you back. That never happens.
    So I don’t know how to get an answer to my question. Also, I would like to know if I need to show them a PCR test or not.

    Terrible customer service, I lost one of my baggage, no one is willing to accommodate my request, they absolutely do not know what they are talking about in customer service.

    I arrived at Toronto Pearson via Frankfurt on Dec. 1 I received a text that my luggage was not loaded on the plane and was rebooked for arrival on dec. 2. I have not received any reponse from Lufthansa re my luggage. The id tag is 0220 025332or lh 025332. Please help It is now Dec 4

    My wife is currently in Iran and was scheduled to return to Toronto on February 15. The flight from Tehran to Frankfurt was cancelled that day but no one told her about the cancellation. Her travel agent here (bahar travel)) said she was never informed of the change in schedules. As a result, she made a trip to the airport in Tehran and only found out when she got there.
