I contacted Lufthansa in Malta yesterday & was in the process of seeing what could be done with a ticket I had booked to the USA for April 24th & was denied boarding.The call was disconnected, after several attempts to get the Malta office on the phone I finally stopped trying. The calls were being answered from locations outside Malta who were telling me they could not help me.
Please advise how I can reach Lufthansa Malta ( 21252020 is answered from all over the world).

I just called Lufthansa Customer Service on 21252020 to confirm whether there is a direct flight from Malta to Newark directly and the responder informed that there are only connections via Frankfurt and Munich. When I asked whether there are direct flights to USA on Saturdays he confirmed that there are which shows that the responder does not know his job well. Moreover, he told me that I should let him speak first which I did. Whden it was my turn and asked another question it showed that again the responder did not know the answer to my secon question either and started to act impatiently. I insisted with the responder for another option to receive a response but instead the responder hung up. I truly hope the call was recorded. Date 07th September, 2021 at 15.36.

Your contact number for Malta – +35621252020 needs serious attention if you want to avoid pushing customers away.
The call center seems to be located in South Africa as all the accents are South African and at times barely understandable as the accents are very heavy.
The connection by IP phone or whatever you are using has serious issues and when it does actually connect, the line goes dead frequently. I have connected 10 times in the last 30 minutes and been cut off each time. On the 2 occasions someone did actually speak we were cut off after a few sentences.
In a situation where flights have been changed by Lufthansa and confirmations are needed quickly, this is not an acceptable standard of service.
Please can you see to it that something is done about the line?
