Dear Customer Service
My name is Nick Wood. I recently purchased a ticket flying with Malaysia Airlines for my son Jonah Marith Bruno Wood – DOB: 08/12/1997 from Amsterdam to Phnom Penh on the 5th July and returning from Phnom Penh to Amsterdam on the 16th August 2017. The ticket booking ref. number is BUK- 6301021. Due to an incident on the railway where a person was injured on the train line going to Schipol Airport in Amsterdam his train was delayed and he missed his outward bound flight. He had to purchase another ticket one-way from Amsterdam to Phnom Penh on another flight. He would still like to use the return portion of the original Malaysia Airlines flight when he returns to Amsterdam ā Can you tell me if this ticket is still valid and I am able to return on this day or any time the week after the 16th August. As he is a student studying in the Netherlands I have limited funds available to purchase a new ticket so I am really hoping that his original ticket to return is still valid.
I really appreciate any help or suggestions you may have and would be delighted if he can still use his return portion of the original ticket which goes from PP-MAL-Dubai- Amsterdam.
My number here in Phnom Penh is 012 955 315 and my son’s number is 0963223205. We have been several times to the Malaysian Airways office on Street 214 in Phnom Penh between the normal office hours but each time the office has been closed and I have not been able to connect with the office by telephone.
