    I tried in vain to get thru to the MEA London reservation or information nr on this date of 05/01/21
    I needed to confirm my return flight 202 to Beirut on 10/1/21 and ask if there are any requisites with regard the PCR test .
    I waited half an hour each call but I was asked to wait until I lost patience without any luck to be given the information needed.
    Unless I get a call from you or message clarifying the situation I consider my flight confirmed and exempt of a PCR test

    Hope this email finds you well.

    I am Diana Fadlallah, a Lebanese citizen who took a flight on May, the 9th of 2020 on Middle East Airlines, on the plane heading to Beirut from London Heathrow Airport, at 1:00 pm.

    I am a loyal customer for this well-known organization. I have always booked my flights with MEA and rated it 5 stars.

    However, I am writing this email to express my disappointment in the services provided by MEA, especially the staff in Heathrow airport.

    I came to the airport with extra weight in my baggage, willing to pay for it, without knowing that a baggage that exceeds 30 kg cannot be taken to the plane because “the staff will be too lazy to hold it” as the one of the MEA staffs “Sarah Haddad” told me. This staff was very rude to me and asked me to buy a new bag that will be passed to the plane for free. I did so and bought a bag for 89 pounds and came back to her, her reaction was also so rude, without looking to me in the eyes and answering me directly, she yelled at an employee saying, “consider it an extra baggage”. Then I kindly asked her if I can book the extra baggage online to pay 50 pounds instead of 75 pounds, she did not accept and made me pay for it offline. Her rudeness and harsh words really made me cry. After that, she decided to weigh my carry-on bags, which were a small bag and a handbag, she found out one of them is 12 kg and did not allow me to take it with me to the plane. I was surprised when I went to the plane that all the passengers had more than 1 carry-on bags that are very heavy, and I did not even have a place to put mine on the plane. I kept wondering the reason behind the rudeness of this staff with me and the superiority in her way of talking to me, which can only be explained by the racism of this woman since I am a veiled Muslim woman, or any bribery act she was waiting from me, which I was not willing to do back then, never done, and never will do since it shows lack of manners.

    Adding to the above, the plane was fully crowded which contradicts WHO requirements about social distancing, which also made me feel worried since I am a high-risk individual and might develop serious side effects if infected. Kindly find attached pictures of the plane and the carry-on bags that were on it.

    With all due respect, I am asking for a compensation for the huge inconvenience that happened to me that day, and that I will never forget.
