    Hi,

May I know what time can we use the in-town check-in in kowloon station with philippine airlines? Some airlines offer 24-hr before flight check-in. Do you also have that option? Thanks.

I was asking about the same, however, hotline told me that the ticket has been cancelled and I need to reach out to ticket agent for further support. So disappointed with the arrangement.

  • GL

I regret to tell you that I am so disappointed by the quality of service and communication from the service hotline and between the email service centre

In Feb, I booked the round trip flight to my worker to Manila from Hong Kong, and her return flight has been issued on Apr 26.

On Mar 14, my worker was at Manila and received email noticed that she has been informed the flight has been cancelled.

So I sent email to [email protected] and asked about the flight situation. The service email replied that the flight on Apr 26 has been cancelled and moved to Apr 27. So I asked for updated itinerary on Mar 20 after confirming the flight has been changed.

On April 18, I reached out to your email service again and asked about the arrangement due to COVID19 government restriction, the email service replied the original flight on 27 Apr hasnā€™t been cancelled, and stated ā€œ if it is flight cancellation, you may contact us so that we can arrange the rebooking for you, and you may also choose the partially full refund as well by then.ā€

After 2 weeks of restriction to Hong Kong from Philippines, I reached out to your email service on May 4, to confirm if thereā€™s any procedure I need to prepare for rebooking the ticketing. Your email service referred me to read https://www.philippineairlines.com/en/ph/home/covid-19/DepartingFromThePH/HongKong

On Aug, I reached out to your email service again and asked about the restriction, and your email service replied the flight has been resumed normal and stated there was few requirement I need to be aware of before rebooking the flight.

I asked again about the rebooking procedure on Nov 7 and asked about if there’s any “expiry date for rebooking my workerā€™s return flightā€. The email service replied original ticket 079-3787696557 cannot be open. I asked about the details of refunding or confirming if I could do the rebook, the email service just referred me to contact the agent for refund but didnā€™t tell me anything about rebooking procedure.

Until today on Nov 15, I booked the hotel to my worker and asked about the confirmation of rebooking the flight on Dec 8, the email service referred me to call service hotline +852 23019300.

I called at around 1030am, there was a CS, helped to check the ticket and thanks for her patient to check and review my ticket at the beginning.

However, I have been told my ticket has been expired after 3 months of the issue date and I have to contact the agent for further support.

Your CS also stated I enjoyed ONE time exception for changing the ticket from Apr 26 to Apr 27 which I didnā€™t make the change but you.

I requested to escalate the case to senior level, and after waited 20 mins, the supervisor, repeated what did Carmen told me without listening my concerns. She told me that she understood my situation but she was not obviously.

Firstly, I donā€™t understand why there was no one from the email, which was over more than 5 emails communication with my asking more than 3 times, tell me about the ticket has been expired after 3 months after the issued date. I was not agreed with your CS mentioned it was the faulty from email service but not hotline. From customer perspective, email service and hotline service SHOULD be under the same company, Philippine airline.

Secondly, I was not agreed with it was ticket agency responsibility to remind the customer to rebook within 3 months because 1) the COVID gov restriction over 3 months! How to book when there was no flight to Hong Kong within 3 months? 2) read though all the T&C that your email service sent to me (https://www.philippineairlines.com/en/covid-19/departingfromtheph) , there was no message noticed the flight ticket need to rebook WITHIN 3 months.

Thirdly, I felt your CS was so hard to communicate and requested to talk to another supervisor even I could wait for another days, but she refused and stated she was the highest management level to talk to me. I was so disappointed with all those services I experienced which is my first time to book Philippine Airline.

Finally, when I was asking was the ticket cancelled without sending notice or reminder to me to rebook or refund, even I sent multiple email to ask. Miss Swanny was unable to provide a clear answer. She did not answer my question, with clarity and professionalism. To quote, she used the term “I think”, “I believe”, “Should be not”, when I asked her repeatedly, she finally said yes, my ticket has been cancelled without noticed me to rebook and that was not my responsibility to take to ask for refund.

I understand that it was the miscommunication between the email service and hotline service and I was not complaining anyone and asked for any compensation. I donā€™t need any refund but I just need the return flight ticket on Dec 8 to my worker come back.

I am looking forward to your reply, explanation, and solution shortly.
