I have flown Quantas three other times in my life and have been very pleased and have recommended Qantas to friends….but I just flew with you from LAX to Melbourne round trip and must say I was very disappointed wth the aircraft. Going my seat was broken and on the returnnthe seat I front of me was broken. So for much of the 15 hrs I was immobilized with a seat in my lap! I think this deserves attention and some attention and reimbursement. When I called Qantas today from my New Mexico home, they said I had to call an Australian number for customer service….this is unacceptable. So I hope you will respond to this email. Thank you.

If one flies Qantas US west coast to Auckland NZ, ..is there a no additional charge stopover option, as one passes thru Sydney?

I tried to buy travel insurance to cover the cost of the airline ticket, etc. when I booked our flight Booking reference number 627MM7. At the time, I got a message that this “wasn’t the right time” or something like that and Qantas would reach out to me or something to the fact that I would get information. I would like a phone number to contact the right person or department to review with the optin to buy travel insurance to cover the tickets (or 80% to 90% of the cost of the tickets. Thank you
My name is Deborah Meyers MD. I have spent 5 hours on the phone last evening using the Qantas 1-800-227 4500 number. Once the phone answered with a 2 hour wait I was connected to a representative who spoke little English. I was calling to use a credit towards a new flight. Not only did he not apply the credit balance as requested- he charged my credit card and additional 700 dollars.
To make matters worse- my original flight was for my partner and myself- two tickets.
I tried to explain that my partner died and he kept insisting on calling him. ( if only) It was upsetting and stressful and now I have to start the entire exercise again. I also have to dispute the charges on my credit card which is an additional waste of time.
Waste of time and horrible customer service.
