Yeh, Qatar Airways is hopeless and unscrupulous, very quick in taking money online but ignore your request for refund. Emails are ignored and calls to 1300340600 will not be answered. That’s how they do business.

BOOKING REFERENCE (PNR) – TT2VT2
Passengers names – Renee Fouche, Catherine Obbes 11 yrs and Chloe Obbes 10yrs (mother and daughters.)
after arriving at the airport at the said time to board their flight Renee was told that the booking had been cancelled.
Please advise why bookings were cancelled and passengers were not advised nor given a reason for this. These were not cancelled by anyone we know.
original booking was for 21 Jan 2021 Flt QR 1378 confirmed leaving Johannesburg and flt QR 904 confirmed leaving Doha for Melbourne.
3 passengers being 1 adult and 2 children. The dates were then changed on the 14th Jan 2021 to 25/01/2021 QR 1378 from Johannesburg to Doha and flt QR 904 from Doha to Melbourne. This was done by yourselves and not the passengers and was confirmed
This has caused great distress and emotion to our family as we have been waiting to see them for 4 years and now due to someone cancelling these tickets. Please advise if you can help us get our family home to us in the shortest possible time as we now feel the girls will miss a whole term of school which has been arranged and paid for.
Please contact me regarding your booking mistake and cancellation error which has caused us much heartache and stress not to mention the worry re our Daughter and Granddaughters being stranded in Johannesburg.
This is urgent. Perhaps before you contact me look up ticket number 157-2393493908 dated 21/01/2021 for departure where you changed dates at a later stage to 25/01/2021 due to limits on passengers arriving in Melbourne. A new ticket number was not issued for the 25/01/2021 and therefore someone cancelled the above number which cancelled your second booking for her.
In this process you cancelled both dates leaving my daughter and 2 granddaughters stranded and unable to board. She has sold all her furniture her car and has no income or medical due to her moving over to Australia at this time. We have no other family in South Africa to help her so please treat this as serious as it is.
I would suggest that you contact me urgently to discuss how you can promptly rectify this error.

This Airline is unbelievable. They cancelled the my ticket after a year never emailed me about it by luck I found out when i contacted the airlines about my flight. Then I paid more then double for a 1 way ticket home in Oct 2020 I still have not got home. On top of all this i was going to flight out of Zagreb on the 19/3/20 and at the airport I was told the flight was cancelled I spent all this money getting myself into Croatia and paid for 2 covid-19 test to arrive at airport to be told flight cancelled no email was sent to inform me of cancellation. You can just image my anger. No one cares that I have spent all this money getting myself to the airport. Then they want more money!!!!
Today I called to see if I could flight to Adelaide and was asked to pay an additional $400 with still not guarantees that I will be on this flight to get back into Australia from Croatia. I live in Melbourne and have not been home for over 16 months. No one wants to help.
This airline is a joke with no compaction empathy. The web page says one thing the customer service you speak to say something different! I want to know Is this airlines going to reimburse me money for accommodation and Covit-19 test I had before arriving to the airport In Zagreb to be told my flight was cancelled?
I have tried contacting many Qatar numbers with no luck, I travel with Qatar every year to Cyprus and we where supposed to return on the 18th of January 2021 from Larnaca to Melbourne and are flight was cancelled due to Covid I need to get a confirmation email confirming the cancelled flight on the 18th of January Booking reference QBRDYG as the Australian government needs a copy so I do not have to pay Quarantine hotel fees as I booked the flights on the 9th of June 2020. Please forward me the cancellation email as soon as possible.

I have 2 credit travel vouchers that I tried to use on Qatar website this morning but was told they had expired. I spoke to a man on Qatar 1300 number this morning & he said he could book tickets for me & that my vouchers haven’t expired…issue date May 27th 2020. After going through names, flights etc he proceeded to tell me the flights would be A$8000.00+ for 2 economy seats, when I questioned him on this he hung up. While this is very disturbing, it hasn’t solved my problem & I am having so much trouble trying to contact someone, anyone at Qatar.
