Hi I am a Muslim Malaysian, may questions is whether it is necessary to put Bin for Male and Binti for Female once i key in my
first name and last name on ticket personal data?
I have been travelling with SilkAir several times from Penang to Singapore and to Europe countries but my tour agent does
not apply Binti on my e-ticket.
I asked is because have bought flight ticket from Cheap Flight under BudgetAir.com and operated by SilkAir.
We have four of us in the family who booked the ticket and paid.
But i did not put Binti for me and my daughter and Bin for my husband and my son.
Example my daughter name as per passport: Faydhaniyah Binti Osman
So i put the First Name as Faydhaniyah and Last Name as Osman so i did not put Binti as i dont know where to put .
The same with my husband : Osman Bin Mat Isa so i just put First Name: Osman and Last Name is Mat Isa
Is it okay if i did not put Binti and Bin?
My name is Rubaidah Jehan Binti Mohamad Bayazid and i put my First Name as: Rubaidah Jehan and Last Name as: Mohamad Bayzid
due to the name is very long and it does not allow me to put in and that is why i did not apply this Binti and Bin for the rest of my family member on the ticket details.

Please confirm if it is okay not to put Binti and Bin.
