Shocking. Been on hold twice, both 20 mins each and then the phone clicks off. No local number to call and the information is not on the website. Not even an email address for Australia.
    Sameful

Same comment as Sue below. Waited online in excess of 20 minutes and gave up in disgust. Then thought OK I will email my inquiry and no email available. Really this is very poor service.

I am trying to find a lost property phone number for Perth airport. I left my top on the plane, flight 280 from OR Tambo on 30th/1st Dec. It was camel coloured, small size, little squares in grey with small flowers in them.possibly left in toilet or seat 45H.iI am flying to Brisbane on the same ticket on the 13th Dec, & could collect it on that date if it has been handed in to lost property office, at Perth Airport

I have always had a very positive experience when booking direct through flysaa. They have been consistently polite and helpful. I called the 1300 435 972 number today to book my flight from Perth and was helped by a wonderful lady, Babitha.
Thank you Babitha for all you did to make the booking easy.

Hate to say it but not the way to run a business! Multiple calls with the wait message! Tried the Sydney office number and that just gave the engaged signal as well! If I could vote less than 1 star I would, still haven’t got through!

Been trying to contact Perth office for 40 minutes so far. Went to the Perth office this morning to book ticket to George. Fly annually with SAA to George and am now so unimpressed with the service that I am considering flying Qantas where I am able to use my Frequent Flyer points. Very frustrating dealing with SAA.

    for flight JHB to Perth
I am very disappointed at the bad service a traveller receives at the despatcher gate in JHB .
when they check your bags for liquids .it a miserable attempt of a search
then to add insult to injury. When they find thing like toothpaste and under arm deodorant .They tell you to go and buy a plastic bag at the stall in the terminal

the girls at the stall charge travellers R500.00 for a plastic bag. I would not pay that so i said all i have was R10.00 she accepted that.
Its not a good look for the young girls .Just pay them more wages maybe then they will value there job.
What a fraud SAA better do something about that before it makes the newspapers in Australia

I left my Kobo e-reader on Flight SA 280 from Johannesburg to Perth, 14 August 2018, departed 9.15pm arrived Perth about 11.30am-midday. I sat in seat 56E alongside my husband in seat 56F, both seats either side of us we empty but I am sure I put the e-reader in my seat pocket, 56E. Was it found?

“Thank you for calling. We’ll be with as soon as possible” goes on and on until one is forced to give up! What poor service!
