Checked Baggage Allowance

  • Maximum weight is 44 pounds and maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage.
  • Items from 51 to 70 pounds will be accepted.
  1. On certain flights, passengers will be given a free checked baggage allowance of 20 kg, with no limit on the number of bags.
  2. On other flights, passengers will be given a free checked baggage allowance of 32 kg, with a maximum combined weight of 32 kg.
  3. 32 kg, with a maximum combined weight of 32 kg.
  4. Size of the luggage allowed in Swift Air ten inches by fourteen inches by twenty four inches (10”X14”X24” – 48 linear inches).

    My husband & I are taking a trip to Punta Cana on a charter Swift Air flight I would like to know about the size of a carryon & if golf clubs were free to take.

    My husband and I will be flying from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Dominican Republic. We will be checking two bags. How much does it cost to check bags at the airport? Also – it looks like the checked bags can only weigh up to 44 lbs? If the checked bags weighs 50 lbs is there an extra fee? Also is one carry-on and one personal item per person free of charge?
