This winter, Etihad Airways expands its flight schedule to New York-JFK

This winter, Etihad Airways will increase the number of flights to New York, making travel to the United States more convenient. With the addition of four new weekly flights beginning on November 15, Etihad will offer 11 weekly nonstop services to John F. Kennedy International Airport on the Abu Dhabi-New York route (JFK).

While current daily services will continue to be operated by Etihad’s brand-new Airbus A350 aircraft, which has been stationed on the Additional York route since June, the new flights will be run using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

These two aircraft models are among the greenest in the world, using a lot less fuel and emitting a lot less CO2 than dual aisle aircraft from earlier generations.

“Etihad is upgrading its schedule for winter to provide even more options for our passengers across key business and leisure locations in our worldwide network,” said Alex Featherstone, Vice President of Network Planning & Alliances.

The frequency increase is well scheduled to begin before the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which will be held on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi from November 17ā€“20, 2022, and will give travelers additional options and flexibility between Abu Dhabi and New York.

With 11 weekly flights to New York-JFK, daily services to Chicago and Washington, and a total of 25 weekly services between Abu Dhabi and the US this winter, Etihad will provide more than 50% more premium seats than it did during the winter of 2021.
