    Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

My fiancƩ and I, French, are going to Mexico from Lyon on August 8th. We have a stopover in Montreal. The stopover lasts 16 hours (we arrive on August 8th at 16:20 in Toronto and take our flight to Cancun the next morning at 8am).

We would like to get out of the boarding area and sleep at the airport hotel just during our 16 hours stopover.

We are both vaccinated (two doses) and will have done a PCR test when leaving France.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

    Hi,

I live in Levi Creek, Mississauga 15 kms west of YYZ. Every weekday morning between 8AM and 10:30 AM, my internet goes out every 10 minutes when certain flights pass over my house to land. I imagine there are several thousand people in this flight path who are also similarly affected. My internet goes out for several minutes and then comes back. Meanwhile, if I am on a Sales call with one of my customers, this is very frustrating since they remain on the Teams/Zoom bridge until I return. This is unacceptable and is affecting my business, as it is likely affecting thousands of others who are forced to work from home.

The outage does not occur with every airline/plane type, just those with flight landing transponders that exceed certain legal signal strengths so as not to affect telecommunications. It is illegal for people to drive around with signal jammers, I would expect the airlines should abide by the same laws.
