Procedure to use Air India TSA PreCheck® Program for Air India Airlines TSA PreCheck lane
TSA pre is available when departing from US airport to a foreign country and for a domestic, connecting flights after returning to the US.
Travelers who are US Citizens, US nationals and lawful permanent residents of the US can apply for TSA Pre for $85 for five years through the TSA Pre application programme.
Once approved, you’ll receive a “Known Traveller Number” when airline reservation. You can check for the TSA Pre indicator (TSAPRECHECK, TSA PRE or TSA Pre) on their boarding pass (If eligible). TSA enable pre screening of passengers no later than 72 hours before the departure of the flight. Passenger must receive clearance from TSA before boarding the flight.
For TSA Pre-check, you no need to remove shoes, laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, belts or light jackets.

- Members of US Customs and Border Protection trusted Traveler Programmes
- The TSA PreCheck® Application Program is only open to

Documents Required:
- Name as it appears on the passport
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Redress Number (if available ) – if a passenger whose name is identical to a passenger on the “No Fly” List of the US Department of Homeland Security, gets a Redress Number from them to identify him/her from the “No Fly” passenger.

- Travel document type
- Address while in US
