    Tried to contact the Capetown office by email and received message that “mailbox is full”
    Tried to phone the Capetown office by phone @ 27 00 21 936 3440 and there was no answer.

    Earlier I reported I could not get in touch with the Turkish Airlines Capetown office because of a “full mailbox” message received after my enquiry.
    They did get back to me despite this message, so no complaint. All is good.

    Phone contact is impossible. NO ONE answers the phones, no matter what number you dial. RIDICULOUS!! How is one supposed to make contact??

    I enquired at your office about holidays in Turkey, thinking outside the box that Turkish Airlines would be the prime people to contact, or at the very least have some information and/or holiday packages to offer, being prime representatives of travel to Turkey from South Africa, but was told rather abruptly that they cannot assist and to go to ‘any travel agency’ who can help, that they themselves don’t have any such options. Furthermore they could not even offer any suggestions as to the best travel agency to contact for advice. Obviously Turkish Airlines only appear to think ‘inside the box’ offering flights only, without giving the lucrative tourist market a second thought in regard to the probable financial value – both to the airline itself and to Turkey in general – such help would be to potential holidaymakers by offering such a service.

      hey peter i had the same issue apparently u can not book at their offices u can only do it via travel agency 2 weeks ago i flew with them they had specials i could not reach them eventually i booked it via flight centre

    I tried for more than 4 hour to get hold of the Turkish Airline office in Cape Town and no one ever picked up the phone. Than I tried with email 5 times and the emails came back every time saying the email box is full please send it later again. I recommend some one should kick there backside so that they start to get there customer service going.

    You list phone numbers for Cape Town sales and operations on the web but none are obtainable. I left my glasses on the plane incoming from IST yesterday and need to get them back before leaving CCPT TODAY. Filling in your lost baggage form is too slow and not appropriate for an item lost on board

    I booked by OPODO first I get a flight from the 3.of November landing in Cape town on the 4. of November. Now they changed the flight to Cape Town to the 6.of November but not the flight from Zurich to Istanbul. I let cange Zurich Istanbul to the 5 of November. I get now an other flight from Zurich to Istanbul.
    My OPODO booking number is 6791385258 boocking number of the Airline ONMRDP
    The booking number from Turkish Airways is TK44 possible thats the flight number. Al changed about the Coronavirus.
    Now I get a new flight number from Zurich to Istanbul TK1910
    My question is all o.k. so can my wife Allison Straeuli take the flight TK1910 from Zurich to Istanbul on the 5.of November and on the 6. of November from Istanbul to Cape Town.

    I tried a few times to contact the office at the Cape Town International Airport. They just dont answer any calls. I cant go there, because you are not allowed in the building if you dont fly.
    I bought 2 Tickets for me and my husband on the 31st of December 2019 which we could not used in May 2020. We cant use it this year because of covid. I please want to ask that Turkish Airlines refund us.

    Can you please give me info to whom to speak to or log a complaint, because nobody bothers to try and help.

    Dear Reader,
    I urgently need to get clarity on a certain matter please!

    I have first communicated with Johannesburg office and they referred me to Cape Town office. I have sent them an email as well and I am awaiting their response.

    My wife and I are currently booked for a flight to Amsterdam on 15 Dec 2021 booking number (2359230699035) to go visit my son in the Netherlands.

    We have booked flights for travel to France in June 2020 and paid the tickets in full. Due to the outbreak of the Covid pandemic in March 2020 we could not go ahead as planned. The flights were extended to 2021, and as you know, we could also not utilise our flights in 2021 due to the Covid regulations and travel bans! We have been told by our travel agent in Pretoria that if we do not use these tickets before end of December 2021 we will lose everything. how is this possible and what wre we to do? We have paid a lot of many and would prefer not to just lose our hard earned money. We have already lost our deposits for our Le Boat travel in France!!!

    Since traveling to the Netherlands have opened in September we have been trying non-stop to get appointments for our visa application through the VFS Global Portal. NO SUCCESS AT ALL !!!
    Both me and my wife are over 61 and we have been vaccinated, but we are concerned about the fact that it is winter in Europe and that the Covid numbers are growing there again. We do not want to put ourselves at risk going to Europe in winter when the Covid Virus numbers are growing again. We would rather go there in summer when it is better and safer for us. We feel we are being bullied and forced to do something which we have no control over.

    Last week Thursday (28/10) I went to the office of Turkish Air in Melrose Arch and spoke to a very kind and friendly and helpful lady named Glenda. I axplained my situation to her. She had a good look at our bookings and history and informed me that we could get a refund (less $30 penalty per ticket) or a non-refundable voucher (less $30 per ticket), which we have to use within two years. This was wonderful news and a good alternative for us! My travel agent tried to do this, but your office in Cape Town apprently said that it is not possible. I do not understand why we are going to lose all our money (more or less R23000) for something which we have no control over??

    Now, I would humbly like to ask if it is not possible at all for us to get this refund or a voucher please. We feel that we did not have any part in this (Covid turmoil and confusion). We still would like to visit my son, but at a better and safer time for us please.

    Will you please consider our plea with urgent attention and kindness!

    I will appreciate your response as soon as possible, since our time is running out…

    On the 25 November I flew from Cape Town to Istanbul. I could not access a necessary form on my phone. LEZAAN APRIL at the check in counter patiently helped me for about 15 minutes. She was compassionate in helping me refill the form so she could a reference number. I was obviously stressed and she was calm.. She is an asset to your company and you should be very proud of the excellent service she provided.


    I been trying to telephone the Cape Town office since early this am and no answer, no matter which number I use to dial.
    Not happy and it’s crazy.
