Dear Sir/madam,
Am compelled to write this mail with a broken heart to you with hope of a possible solution.
Am doing this on behalf of my daughter, Miss Ezinne Ginah Nwakerendu Ohaeri, a Nigerian and Medical student at Vitebsk state Medical university, Belarus.
She returned to Nigeria on holidays on 14th July 2017 via Turkish airlines (Round trip). On completion of her holidays, she approached the Turkish airline officials on 25th August 2017 at Murtala Mohammed airport Lagos to make a trip back to Minsk. She was properly checked in with two of her luggages weighing 23kg each.
Her flight numbers on the day were; Lagos- Istanbul , TK0626 and Istanbul to Minsk , TK 0283.
She was on-board the aircraft with her luggages as it departed Lagos on that faithful 25th August 2017 at 8.45 pm Nigeria time. Expectedly, the passengers including my daughter transited at Istanbul before connecting another flight to Minsk. She got to Minsk on 26th August 2017 at 1500hrs local time.
Surprisingly, she could only find one of her luggages as the second could not be traced to any where till date. The missing luggage tag number is TK 089019. She was totally confused knowing fully well that the luggages were carefully loaded prior to flight departure from Lagos. She however, contacted some officials of the Turkish airline at Minsk international airport who advised her to fill forms for missing luggage and she complied. They promised to help trace the location of the missing luggage.
It is very unfortunate that the said luggage contained her daily needs as a student and she has been left devastated. The worrisome of this whole drama is that she goes to Minsk virtually everyday because of the luggage and spend so much money doing this without trace of the missing luggage.
We, as her parents have been thrown into confusion wondering what actually went wrong. I have contacted Lagos office in Nigeria, made the complain and I was told with evidence that the luggages were loaded carefully on the day of departure.
Kindly use your good office to investigate this matter and ensure the missing luggage is recovered and handed over to my daughter who is in Vitebsk, a long distance away from Minsk. This is important because I believe reputation of the airline should be paramount to you and also to encourage us to continue to patronize the airline.

This is to bring to your notice our experience with your reputable airline. Lately our clients have been encountering difficulties each time they want to fly, thereby causing the company losses. The following tickets were cancelled by Turkish airlines after being ticketed.
(1) MR ADOLOR CHRISTOPHER A. His ticket was issued on the 12th Mar 2018, Abuja Istanbul Dublin and Dublin Istanbul Abuja. He was to travel on the 19th August. Going through all their tickets we discovered that his own ticket has been cancelled by the airline since the 15th June 2018. We have to reissue his ticket as his travel date was on the 19th August, thereby incurring additional cost of N217963.00
(2) REV FR EDI EMMANUEL MARTINS AND REV FR INAH GABRIEL ACHU: Their tickets was issued on the 25th April 2018, Abuja Istanbul Rome and Rome Istanbul Abuja. They were due to travel on the 15th June 2018. When they got to the airport, they were told that their booking was cancelled. They put a call across to me, in order to avoid embarrassments for the priests as they are going for a conference, their tickets was reissued that night, leaving the agency with additional cost of N221160.00.
All these experiences are with Turkish airlines alone, because we have not experienced such with any other airlines. We appeal you kindly look into the above complain and give us a favorable response as to why all the cancellation.

Turkish Airline is the worst airline one can fly. They have a first class degree in baggage irregularity. Just ensure all your important stuff are in your hand luggage and make sure they don’t collect your hand luggage just as you are boarding.
