Travel during pregnancy in Turkish Airlines

Pregnancy rules in Turkish Airline:

  • Expectant mothers can travel inĀ Turkish AirlineĀ till 36th week of the Single pregnancy and 32 week for multiple pregnancy.
  • After 28th week, a medical certificate is required to travel which stated that you are fit to travel from your doctor or midwife.
  • You must apply for medical clearance by submitting a medical information form (MEDIF).

      you can get E visa on airport but make sure you should have debit credit card to pay 62USD visa fee. immigration dont accept cash payment

          Sir you changed Airport thats time need exit visa. I go to Islamabad airport they are say you not go to kuwait.

      Dear incharge,
      We travelled on Turkish airline on 22 July 2022 from Istanbul to Islamabad. In this flight a 10 no’s. Children and 10 male along with travelling in our flight. Mostly times disturbed by children disturbing highly noise, touch screen, open again and again lights and we travelled in very bad conditions.

      Kindly instruct to crew supervisor to look like this type of of passengers and strictly instructed to them to look on their children whic are disturbing full passengers of this flight.

      Hopefully to investigate this issue too

    I am sorry to say that service at Islamabad office is extremely poor. The call is attended with a recorded greeting but after selecting the required service, in my case “booking” the call is transferred but the phone keeps ringing, nobody responses and ultimately the line is terminated. This happened with me a number of times on different days. I thought that this may be because the reservation desk may have been very busy. However, in this case the caller should be informed.

    I decided to call early in the morning hoping that I may be lucky to be able to talk to your representative, so I called at 09:35 am. There was a recorded message saying that the working hours are from 09:30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday …… That meant that the system was not switched on at 09:30 am. I waited for another half hour and called again, the call at this time was received (recorded message) and connected to “Booking” but no one responded.

    One would expect a better service from an airline that has been declared the best airline of Europe for so many years. With this type of response the passengers would shy away from traveling with Turkish Airline or make booking through travel agents instead of of direct booking with the airline.

    I had to visit the Turkish airlines office in Islamabad. It was a pleasant surprise. Sadia Kanwal was very courteous. cooperative and helpful. She answered all my questions with a smile and went the extra mile to help me out. It was a very good experience for me and left a pleasant taste in my mouth. Her mode of customer service showed her commitment and willingness to help customers. I went in there very irritated because I could not get through on phone but I came out very happy. Thanks to Sadia. My compliments to Turkish Airlines for having such nice employees.

    Apparently situation is same as it was before(After almost a year) . Today I also needed to call the guys,on given number. Same thing happened, after pressing desired department code none picks the phone.

    Turkish Airline could be one of the good ones, but the staff in Pakistan seem not well equipped or may be islamabad office is under-staffed.
    In either case client is suffering.

    I have traveled on more than a dozen Airlines to different destinations in the the world. But response I received from Islamabad office of Turkish airline is worst in the world. The ensure not to attend calls of customers calling them for different inquiries. Today is the third consecutive day with no response Turkish airline staff.
    Please have some responsible people working in your office and a responsible supervisor who could exercise tight control on the office staff. So far its a very poor performance which gets bad name to the Turkish Airline due to their irresponsible attitude. Airline office does’nt work like this.

    I cant believe in 2020 company such as Turkish Airline office in Islamabad still has poor service. I read comments 2017 but this company has not improved. I have called office numerous times at different times but just get recorded message and after a while get cut off. Same thing customers were complaining in 2017 and now its 2020 and improvement. I will make sure in future not to book with Turkish airline or encourage any family or friends either. Thank you Turkish Airline for employing useless staff in Islamabad!
