Travel during pregnancy in Turkish Airlines

Pregnancy rules in Turkish Airline:

  • Expectant mothers can travel in Turkish Airline till 36th week of the Single pregnancy and 32 week for multiple pregnancy.
  • After 28th week, a medical certificate is required to travel which stated that you are fit to travel from your doctor or midwife.
  • You must apply for medical clearance by submitting a medical information form (MEDIF).

    Dear staff of Turkish Airlines.
    My name is Paolo Casacci, italian, resident in Oman.
    Two days ago (December 11th, Tuesday) I was with my mother on the flight TK774, landing at 19:35 from Istanbul to Muscat.
    I arrived in Muscat on Wednesday 12th, at 01:35 am, and I had NOT my resident card with me.
    It’s a small plastic card, rectangular in shape, with my pictures, informations and details.
    I’m quite sure I’ve lost my resident card on that plane.
    My original seat was 28C, but during the second part of the flight, I tried to sleep all along seats 28 D, E, and F (all of them were free in a row).
    I went couple of times to the bathroom, as well.
    Probably it’s where I’ve lost my resident card: between seats 28 C, D, E and F, and the bathroom.
    Is there any chance to know if someone of the crew found that resident card ?
    What about the staff members who clean the seats after the flight ?
    Is there any chance to find back that resident card ?
    Please….help me…please…..

    Just to let you know that this is going to be my last flight with you EVER.
    I have tried to call your offices and I had no luck whatsoever at any time of the day.

    A while ago I went to your offices and talked to somebody about making sure that my dad, who had been hospitalised just before flying, was helped and had a wheel chair available. Nothing materialised no help and no wheelchair.

    Your customer service is non existent. I have to say the worst service ever. Just a couple of weeks ago I flew Qatar and the difference in service was just astonishing. Never again with you.

    My family was unable to board our flight in the US because the bags had been incorrectly tagged in Muscat.
    I have sent many feedback requests and made dozens of calls, but the matter remains unresolved after six months.
    I was promised travel vouchers as compensation, but they were never sent to me.
    The last feedback number was #4699796. Calls to your office are now being blocked or disconnected.
    Can you please help?

    Once the ticket is paid, the flights are changed and customer service cannot help. They just ask you to fill in feedback forms. I have filled in many customer feedback forms and no one ever resolves the issue.

    I am planning to book our tickets for MCT-BOS-MCT on 16th July 2021 and our return journey on 28th August 2021. In case, due to covid or any reason flights are canceled or airports are closed will I change the dates without penalty and other charges /cost and till when?
